Tammy tattle

A powerful celebrity agent, his famous client, and an ambitious photographer with scandalous photos – it’s a classic Sydney story I couldn’t ignore.

On Tuesday, photographer Jayden Seyfarth photographed Instagram model Tammy Hembrow as she left The Press, a popular spot in the city center, with her manager, Sean Anderson from 22 Management.

Showpo, the online fashion store, marked its 15th anniversary with a party attended by many well-known influencers and reality TV personalities, like Indy Clinton and Jules Robinson.

A camera caught Sean and Tammy leaving a Merivale bar late at night. He had his arm around her shoulder and briefly touched her hand before they joined a group and got into a taxi.

Okay, let’s just say I’m not implying anything untoward, but as far as I can tell, Tammy and Sean are both currently single and available.

However, people are surprised by their relationship for two main reasons: first, there’s a significant age gap – Tammy is 31 while Sean is 55 – and second, Sean used to be Tammy’s manager.

As a big fan, I can tell you there was definitely some buzz going around! Jayden actually shared a few screenshots on his TikTok before the Daily Mail got the exclusive and had them taken down. It was exciting while it lasted!

The pictures were online just long enough for people to take screenshots and share them across social media – on gossip accounts, a subreddit dedicated to the influencer, and the popular online forum, Tattle Life.

I won’t give any attention to the negative comments, but I will say some people wondered if the pictures showed a normal relationship between a manager and their client.

I reached out to Sean on Thursday for a response, and he said he was confused. He claimed he hadn’t seen whatever I was referring to, adding, ‘I’m 55, Lucy! Come on!’

Okay, so Tammy hasn’t addressed those photos directly, but let me tell you, she did drop a little hint on social media that same day about some new romance in her life – though she made it seem totally separate from everything else. It’s a classic move – keep people guessing, right?

While attending a Showpo event in Sydney, the influencer from the Gold Coast posted a TikTok video from her bed. In the video, she lip-synced the famous line ‘I can’t go out, I’m sick’ while an arm – belonging to someone other than her boyfriend Sean – was around her head.

Regarding those photos, sources say Sean was simply a dedicated agent taking a well-deserved night off with his client during a hectic time of year.

Whether Tammy’s gossip-hungry fans see it that way is another matter entirely.

Charged doctor the talk of Double Bay

Double Bay has seen its share of unusual events, from a florist behaving badly to a wedding planner accused of fraud, and even someone pretending to be a federal police officer.

The upscale neighborhood is now talking about a local chiropractor – who drives a Lotus – and the serious allegations of domestic violence made by a former partner.

The Daily Mail first reported the story on Monday, and I’ve heard Dr. Walid Kesserwani – though it’s worth noting that chiropractors can use the ‘Dr.’ title – is now a popular topic of conversation.

A source familiar with the upcoming court case mentioned that people are closely scrutinizing the individual’s qualifications.

A video recently appeared showing him casually rattling off all his degrees: a Bachelor of Medical Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Chiropractic Services, a Master’s degree, and even a Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Dr. Kesserwani has impressive credentials, but we couldn’t find any record of his doctorate on his official registration with AHPRA or on his LinkedIn profile.

To be clear: we don’t suggest he’s not qualified to practise as a chiropractor. He is.

It’s strange that he claims to have a doctorate, considering his online profile only shows a master’s degree as his highest qualification.

He might have simply said the wrong thing, or he could have qualifications from another country that haven’t been mentioned – it’s possible, considering his American accent.

His official record with AHPRA now shows he has a Master of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University.

I always appreciated seeing that his profile mentioned he spoke both Arabic and French – it really highlighted his well-rounded background. It’s strange, though, because I noticed those details were actually removed from his online profile just recently, and I’m not sure why.

Bigwigs see red over pink house

A dispute over a luxurious estate has reached the NSW Supreme Court, focusing on one of Australia’s most famous and often-photographed homes.

Villa Biscaya, a well-known pink Spanish-style mansion on Tivoli Avenue in Rose Bay – often seen in magazines like Vogue and TV shows like The Bachelor, The Voice, and Married At First Sight – is at the center of a dispute between David Waterhouse, from the prominent Waterhouse family, and Michael Rothner, a private equity executive at AsheMorgan.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Apparently, Waterhouse just sold her incredible house – the one that looks like it’s straight out of a classic movie – for $26 million! Can you even imagine?! She only bought it for $10.25 million back in 2021, so that’s a massive profit! Everything was supposed to be finalized in December after they started talking about it around the middle of this year, but now I’m hearing it all went south… like, a total mess. I’m so obsessed with that house, and now this drama?! Ugh!

The fireworks started while Rothner was living there rent-free, around the time someone unexpectedly cut down four tall palm trees next door. This incident, quickly dubbed ‘palmgate’ by locals, reportedly made Waterhouse extremely angry.

Rothner strongly denies any connection to the secret logging activity and is now being evicted. He responded by suing Waterhouse, alleging that Waterhouse deliberately delayed his project by taking too long to approve necessary changes, thus preventing him from building his intended ‘wellness pavilion’.

The situation became more complicated on Monday when Rothner, also a vice-president at Central Synagogue, appeared in court. This followed testimony from Gavin Rubinstein and Jerome Srot, leading experts from the luxury real estate firm The Rubinstein Group – and, notably, fellow members of Rothner’s synagogue.

Interestingly, I’ve discovered that Waterhouse and Rothner aren’t the only notable Sydney residents who have had access to Villa Biscaya.

The property was formerly owned by Rob Gregg, who founded Mondeal Aesthetics. He’s also the father of Kaitlynn Gregg, a young entrepreneur previously featured in this column following a disagreement with Ella James, co-founder of Fayshell clinic.

Villa Biscaya, built in 1929 by famous architect Alan Edgecliff Stafford, is a nearly 100-year-old home with stunning harbor views. It features four bedrooms, a swimming pool, and even a wine cellar that can hold over 1,000 bottles.

And finally… guess who, don’t sue

Which socialite has dramatically fallen out with her well-connected sister-in-law?

These two women, who are related through a complicated family history, used to be very close and prominent figures in Sydney’s high society. But they’re not friends anymore.

Oh my god, can you BELIEVE it? I’ve been following them for years, and apparently, things are awful now. I heard they absolutely refuse to be anywhere near each other – like, they can’t even stand to be in the same area! It’s so bad that at their nephew’s birthday – their nephew’s birthday! – they apparently showed up at different times, just to avoid each other. Can you imagine? It’s heartbreaking, honestly.

It’s unclear what caused the sudden tension – some speculate it was a rejected invitation, while others believe it stems from a dispute about where family allegiances lie – but everyone in the eastern suburbs is talking about it.
