Smokey Robinson, 85, accused of sexual battery by man as two former workers join explosive lawsuit

Smokey Robinson is now accused of sexual misconduct by two more former employees, who allege the behavior happened while they worked for him.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! More people are coming forward with lawsuits against him! TMZ just reported that two more plaintiffs – a fifth Jane Doe and a John Doe – are joining the case against the singer. It’s just…it’s awful, and I’m following every single detail. He’s 85 years old, and this is just… I can’t even.

The man accusing the singer of ‘Cruisin” alleges that the singer grabbed his hand and attempted to make him touch him inappropriately.

Both of the new people making accusations say they previously worked as housekeepers for Robinson and his wife, Frances Gladney Robinson.

Christopher Frost, Robinson’s lawyer, dismissed the recent accusations in a statement to the Daily Mail, describing them as false and suggesting the people making them are attempting to get money from the 85-year-old actor.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen this tactic before – it’s all too common. What’s happening here is that these people bringing the claims are clearly working together, and they’re deliberately trying to create a lot of negative attention for the Robinsons. It feels less about genuine issues and more about damaging their reputation, and they’re structuring their arguments to get the most media coverage possible.

As we detailed in the Robinsons’ lawsuit against this group – which accused them of defamation, civil conspiracy, and elder abuse – this has always been a calculated effort to take money from an 85-year-old icon. The people involved are hiding their identities and are now seeking widespread media attention while making deeply untrue and damaging claims, according to the representative.

We’ve repeatedly asked the court to compel these anonymous individuals to provide crucial information, hand over relevant evidence, and share deposition records with the District Attorney. Understandably, this group and their lawyers are withholding evidence that could be used to investigate their own accusations. Once the truth is known, their self-serving motivations and false claims will be exposed.

In May, four former employees filed a lawsuit against the famous singer, accusing him of serious offenses like rape, sexual assault, and unlawfully holding them against their will.

He has now sued the original four people who accused him, claiming they tried to illegally obtain money from him, damaged his reputation, and mistreated him due to his age.

A new lawsuit alleges that a man began working for the musician and his wife at their home in Chatsworth around 2013.

Okay, so, this is… hard to talk about. I’ve been following this case and apparently, he used to detail Robinson’s cars, getting there super early. He claims Robinson would always come out half-dressed – like, just his underwear – and… and then he’d, um, expose himself and… well, basically, he’d put on a show right in front of him. It’s just… horrifying and I can’t believe this happened to him. It’s just stuck in my head now.

He claims Robinson’s ‘sexual arousal was vivid and unmistakable during these incidents.’

He claims the singer occasionally made inappropriate comments and gestures, and once signaled for him to join her in another room.

The person claiming harassment says they repeatedly turned down Robinson’s advances and asked him to dress appropriately.

He claims that in 2022, the situation became more serious when Robinson allegedly grabbed his hand without permission and tried to place it on his erect penis.

He claims Robinson fired him following the alleged incident.

According to the accuser, Robinson’s wife requested he return to work after a year, and he complied.

John Doe says that when he came back, Robinson continued to behave inappropriately – specifically, by exposing himself, touching himself, and making sexually suggestive comments.

The person making the accusation says the sexual harassment led to feelings of shame, emotional pain, and a continuing fear for their well-being and self-respect.

He says he quit working for the couple because he found out they had treated others similarly, and he was worried about his own safety.

Meanwhile the other new accuser, Jane Doe, claims she worked for the Robinsons as a housekeeper.

In the lawsuit, she claims that Robinson repeatedly grabbed her hand and attempted to make her touch his genitals without her consent, doing so more than ten times.

In May, Robinson strongly denied the accusations made by the four women, telling DailyMail.com he was shocked and upset by the lawsuit.

In June, Robinson accused the four former housekeepers of delaying their sexual assault lawsuit in an attempt to harm his tour and pressure him into an unfair financial settlement.

The singer’s lawyers asked a court to force one of the women accusing him – identified as Jane Doe 2 – to give a sworn testimony. They claim she is preventing them from gathering evidence while the singer is touring.

The four people suing Robinson are choosing to keep their identities private and are listed in court documents as Jane Doe.

The lawsuit claims that Robinson and his wife, Frances, engaged in a nearly twenty-year pattern of abusive and harassing behavior.

The alleged victims worked in his homes in Los Angeles and Las Vegas between 2007 and 2024.
