Holly Hagan paid tribute to her sister, Darci Rose, after her funeral on Tuesday. Darci was laid to rest by her family following her passing at the age of 19.

The 33-year-old former Geordie Shore cast member posted a photo of Darci’s memorial program to her Instagram, adding a message saying she hoped they had honored her well.

Holly announced the passing of Darci last month, and police later confirmed she had become seriously ill, likely after taking drugs.

It was absolutely devastating for Holly and her family. She told everyone at the time that they were completely traumatized, and they were really struggling to process everything after what happened. You know, Darci is just naturally stunning, and the sweetest part is she doesn’t even seem to know how beautiful she is! I used to gently suggest she might prefer a more natural lash look, but honestly? I was totally projecting! Looking back, I was rocking some seriously dramatic lashes at her age – a total double standard, I admit!

After Holly’s announcement, Greater Manchester Police reported that on October 19, 2025, they responded to a call from hospital staff concerned about a 19-year-old woman who had become seriously ill, likely after taking drugs.

We are very sorry to report that the woman passed away at the hospital on Monday evening. We are keeping her family in our thoughts during this incredibly sad time, and the investigation continues.

Holly explained that her friend was very absent-minded, often leaving lights on, forgetting to lock up, and even leaving the freezer door open, which resulted in a mess of defrosted food when Holly’s mother checked on it.

She was a wonderful aunt, and Alpha-Jax loved her very much. She dedicated his entire birthday to playing on the bouncy castle with him and his sister, Alba, creating a memory I’ll always treasure.

She was driven to become a social worker because she loved helping kids, and I truly believe she’s continuing that work, caring for children now.

I’m not sure if I’m grieving the way I expected, but I truly feel like she’s given me a lot of strength and is still watching over us, like a guardian angel. We miss her so much. She’ll always be 19 in our hearts.
