The KeSPA Cup 2025 will be open to North American teams for the very first time, and you’ll be able to watch it all live on Disney+.
The KeSPA CUP 2025, a major League of Legends tournament held in South Korea after the regular season, will feature teams from North America for the very first time. Fans around the world will be able to watch the event on Disney+, marking a new step forward in how esports are broadcast.
KeSPA Cup 2025
The KeSPA CUP 2025 is back, featuring the best players from the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and four other invited teams. This year, North America will be joining the competition for the first time, with Cloud9 and Team Liquid traveling to Korea to challenge the top Korean teams.
Besides the teams from North America, we’re also going to have some awesome players coming from Japan and Vietnam! They haven’t revealed which teams yet, but I’m super excited to see what they bring to the competition.
From December 6th to 14th, you can watch the KeSPA Cup on Disney+. This marks the first time a major streaming service will broadcast the event, following a growing trend seen in traditional sports. All matches will be played online, except for the finals, which will be held live at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum.
Teams
The teams competing are BNK FEARX, OKSavingsBank BRION, Dplus KIA, DWG KIA, DRX, Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, NS RedForce, and T1. The game schedule hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll share details as soon as they become available.
Media partnership with The Walt Disney Company Korea
Okay, so huge news for us esports fans! Back in October 2025, KeSPA announced they’re partnering with Disney Korea. What that means is Disney+ is now the only place you’ll be able to watch the KeSPA Cup 2025. But it doesn’t stop there – they’ve also got the exclusive rights to live-stream all the esports action from the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, right on Disney+! Pretty big deal for the platform, and awesome for us because it means more content.

2026 Asian Games
The 2026 Asian Games, a major sporting event with both traditional sports and esports competitions, will be held in Japan from September 19th to October 4th, 2026. Popular esports titles featured will include Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Pokémon Unite, and PUBG Mobile, among others.
