Fans are getting their first look at Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, and Harris Dickinson as the Beatles! New photos have been released showing the actors in character for an upcoming four-part series about the band.
LIPA, a performing arts school co-founded by Paul McCartney in 1996, recently shared postcards featuring actors dressed as the members of The Beatles. Paul Mescal appears to be portraying a young McCartney, reminiscent of the band’s performances at the Cavern Club.
People are getting their first look at the Irish actor’s incredible transformation into the iconic musician, sporting a simple t-shirt and the musician’s signature haircut.
The first look at Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr shows him wearing a black and white spotted puffer coat and headphones, mirroring the drummer’s style during the recording of The Beatles’ double album in 1968.
The actor not only had the same hairstyle as Ringo Starr’s famous ‘moptop,’ but he also looked remarkably like the drummer himself.

Barry has been cast as the iconic drummer in a planned movie series about each member of the band. The series will be directed by Sir Sam Mendes and is set to premiere as a special cinematic release in 2028.
Paul Mescal, known for his role in ‘Normal People,’ will portray Paul in a new four-part film series. He’ll be acting alongside Harris Dickinson as John Lennon and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
After a lot of guessing, Sony announced the actors for its four upcoming Beatles movies last year. All four films are scheduled to come out in April 2028.
Aimee Lou Wood, known for her role in The White Lotus, will portray Pattie Boyd, the wife of George Harrison. Saoirse Ronan, an Oscar-nominated Irish actress, will play Linda McCartney, who inspired many of Paul McCartney’s songs.
Anna Sawai, 33, known for her role in the drama series Shogun, will portray Yoko Ono, John Lennon’s wife. Meanwhile, Mia McKenna-Bruce, 28, a British actress, will play Maureen Cox, who was married to Ringo Starr.
According to the Daily Mail, filming for the upcoming Beatles biopics began in November at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, even though there were previous reports suggesting the project had been halted.
Westminster Council initially said filming wouldn’t be permitted at the iconic zebra crossing, but they’ve now told the Daily Mail that the production is approved and will happen.
Sam Mendes, the director, planned to reproduce the iconic cover art from the Beatles’ 1969 album on the famous Abbey Road crossing.
Westminster Council confirmed to the Daily Mail that they’re collaborating with film crews, and a road closure will be necessary to accommodate the filming.
