Sword of Justice immerses you in a vibrant martial arts world, making every jump, hit, block, and special move feel like it’s straight out of an action movie. Combat is central to the game, whether you’re defeating enemies, challenging powerful bosses, competing with other players, or developing your school’s distinct style.
When I first jump into this game, it’s just beautiful – peaceful scenery, amazing old temples… but that all changes fast! The second an enemy shows up, it’s non-stop action. You really have to think on your feet, and how well your character’s abilities work together is key. What I love is that each class feels totally unique, and every hero you add can make your combos even more epic. Seriously, you can link abilities together for these crazy, flashy moves! But be warned – one wrong move and you’re getting knocked out in style!
Okay, so I’ve put together a complete guide to help you with Sword of Justice. It covers everything about fighting – how to use the controls, the different classes and what they do, all the skills and combos, and a ton more. Whether you’re just starting out or trying to become a pro, this will help you level up your combat game and dominate every fight. Sword of Justice: Combat System Overview
Mastering the Core Controls
Okay, so the controls in Sword of Justice are really well done. They’re easy to pick up if you’re new to the game, but there’s a lot of depth if you want to get serious. Moving your character – which you do on the left side of the screen – is super important. You learn to keep enemies at a distance, dodge those big area-of-effect attacks, and just generally stay in the best position to win. It’s all about mastering that movement!

The dash button lets you quickly move around, helping you dodge attacks or get close enough to use powerful combo attacks. Regular attacks are the foundation of fighting, connecting your bigger moves together. Even jumping is useful – combining it with attacks lets you reposition yourself in creative ways.
Players build their characters using a unique skill system visualized as a crescent-shaped wheel, allowing them to equip up to six active abilities. Although the system is easy to learn, becoming truly skilled involves fluidly combining movement, dodges, regular attacks, and special abilities.
Understanding Martial Schools (Classes) and their Combat Identity
Sword of Justice includes six different martial arts schools, each with its own unique fighting style. The Nightwaker is a classic assassin, focusing on fast attacks, powerful finishing moves, and quick movement that requires skillful timing.

Ironclad excels at protecting allies by soaking up damage with strong defenses and abilities that control enemies. Bloodstorm is a flashy, self-sufficient melee fighter perfect for solo play, combining powerful attacks with the ability to heal itself. Sylph is the game’s main healer, providing essential buffs, removing harmful effects, and offering life-saving support during challenging battles.
Numina excels at calling upon Acolytes to harass opponents, dealing damage over time and applying hindering effects. Celestune, on the other hand, controls the battlefield with elemental magic, shifting between fire, ice, and wind forms to deliver strong attacks from a distance. Your chosen martial school defines how you approach combat, influencing both your role and how you play.
Skills, Rotations, and Combo Execution
In Sword of Justice, each character class uses a combination of active and passive skills to define how they fight. You directly activate active skills, but they have a recharge time after use. Passive skills are always working, constantly improving your damage, ability to survive, or overall helpfulness in combat.

As a player, I love that this game lets me completely customize my skills! I’ve got up to six slots I can tweak in the Martial Arts menu, and I can even use skills from heroes I’ve unlocked. It means every character build can feel totally unique, but it also means you really need to think about how you’re using those skills. Just mashing buttons on cooldown won’t cut it – you need to plan out a solid skill rotation to really maximize your damage and effectiveness. It’s not just what skills you use, but when you use them that matters!
Heroes and their Combat Impact
Heroes become available at Level 30 and make Sword of Justice’s battles more interesting. Each hero has a strong special ability, as well as unique benefits and stat boosts that can significantly improve how you play.

These abilities work incredibly well with martial school kits. Because hero skills easily fit into your normal attacks, they give you more choices in battle and let you create powerful combos. Learning when to use these hero skills is key to dealing a lot of damage quickly and staying alive longer.
Final Thoughts
Sword of Justice features engaging combat that combines fast-paced action with strategic thinking and skillful play. As you learn the controls and understand your character’s unique abilities, you’ll discover deeper layers of gameplay. Success comes from being precise, paying attention to your surroundings, and using your skills effectively. The game also lets you experiment with different approaches and create a combat style that’s uniquely your own.
Concentrate on understanding your character, perfecting your attack combinations, and getting the timing right for your special moves, and you’ll climb the ranks in this fantastical eastern setting quickly. The more you practice, the more powerful and intimidating you’ll become.
