Batman & Robin still haunts George Clooney

The Oscar-winning actor is speaking again about how much he dislikes Batman & Robin, a movie he’s often said was a big mistake in his career.

While discussing his new movie, George Clooney recently told MovieWeb that he regrets playing Batman in the 1997 film and wouldn’t take the role if he had the chance to do it over.

George Clooney quickly named Batman & Robin as a film he’d like to revisit if given the chance. He recently shared a funny story about his son dressing up as Batman for Halloween. Despite telling his son he was Batman, his son playfully disagreed, and Clooney admitted the boy was right to think so.

At the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Jay Kelly, George Clooney discussed how making ‘Batman & Robin’ influenced his work going forward. He explained, “I learned a lot from that film. You grow more from your mistakes than from your successes, and you have to find your way through them.” (via PEOPLE)
