Get a room! The Golden Bachelor’s Bear Myrden and Sunny Long can’t keep their hands off each other as they passionately kiss during romantic night out in Sydney

Barry Myrden and Sunny Long, stars of The Golden Bachelor, showed off their affection for each other while out and about in Sydney this week.

In the final episode of the reality show Nine, Bear, age 61, selected Sunny, 58, as his match, choosing her over Janette Bendle, also 61, during a trip to South Africa.

Bear and Sunny, the reality TV couple, still appear deeply in love, as they were seen enjoying a romantic date night on Monday.

The newly-minted couple looked absolutely smitten as they strolled, hand-in-hand, through the city.

The pair looked genuinely enamoured with one another, both beaming broadly as they walked.

Overcome with affection, the couple shared a loving kiss before going to a restaurant for a romantic date.

Sunny looked incredibly stylish for the date, wearing a sleeveless, bright green dress.

The brightly colored dress ended just below her knees, highlighting her slender and fit legs.

As the November evening turned chilly, Sunny bundled up in a beige coat and a soft, fake fur wrap.

For the event, Sunny let her dark hair flow freely and completed her outfit with delicate, see-through heels and a small tiara.

Bear appeared to be feeling generous, and Sunny was seen holding a little gold box, which might have contained jewelry.

Bear looked sharp in a dark blue jacket paired with a burgundy polo shirt.

The reality star completed his outfit with beige chinos, a black leather belt, and black loafers.

Even though Bear was completely focused on Sunny, he briefly interrupted their romantic moment to answer a phone call.

As he chatted on the street, Sunny waited patiently, smiling adoringly at her beau.

This follows the couple’s revelation of their secret relationship, which they had to keep hidden for seven months while everyone in Australia speculated about who he would end up with.

Bear and Sunny told the Daily Mail that producers controlled their relationship so much that Bear worried Sunny might forget him while they were apart.

‘When the cameras stopped rolling, I just said, “Do not forget about me”,’ Bear admitted.

The infrastructure engineer, who works on the Northern Beaches, explained that he saved her phone number under a false name in his contacts to avoid suspicion if someone looked at his phone.

‘I can actually put her name in my phone now because the secret name would pop up,’ he revealed.

Sunny admitted the months spent undercover were far tougher than viewers realised.

It was a difficult time, but he reached out almost daily with texts and calls. She described him as a very romantic person.

Sunny said the emotionally intense environment made everything feel raw and real.

‘I did not have any guards up at all,’ she explained.

‘My heart was sinking all the way down.’

Bear said he knew instantly that his feelings for Sunny were genuine.

‘We both said, “I love you”, so many times it is hard to know who said it first,’ he laughed.

Like the rest of Australia, the couple saw the finale for the first time with Bear hosting a viewing party for about 80 of their neighbors and friends right in their neighborhood.

‘It portrayed us both in the truest form,’ he said.

Sunny shared that he’s deeply loved by those around him – neighbors and friends alike. She feels lucky to be a part of his community.
