Kris Jenner finally explains why she stays friends with the bad boy exes of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian

Kris Jenner has a history of staying friends with her children’s exes.

For some time, Kris Jenner maintained contact with Kanye West, even when he was going through difficult periods. However, in 2020, he publicly nicknamed her ‘Kris Jong-un,’ referencing the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and this likely ended their friendship.

The TV producer is also friends with Khloe Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson, and has partied with him before.

She’s helped Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex, Scott Disick, the most. He continues to appear on their reality show, The Kardashians.

Caitlyn Jenner’s former partner has praised Scott Disick, calling him ‘amazing’ and stating he’ll always be considered family.

You know, it’s funny, I’ve realized I tend to fall for people who are already in relationships – people who have built lives and spent years with someone else, whether it’s a long-term partner, a boyfriend, or a husband. I shared this recently with Jay Shetty on his ‘On Purpose’ podcast, and it’s just something I’ve noticed about myself over time.

Oh my gosh, just thinking about her life makes me feel everything! It’s like, all these incredible moments – all the trips, every Christmas morning, all the birthdays… and just life happening, you know? The happiness, the silly laughs, even the sad stuff, and watching her family grow with all those adorable babies… it’s just… everything!

She explained that these men are mostly the fathers of her grandchildren, and she loves them deeply. That love remains constant, even when things are difficult, because she can’t simply stop caring for them.

The celebrity, who recently spent $100,000 on a facelift, stated that her former partners are always welcome to reach out to her if they need help.

And she also stays close to the exes for the sake of the grandkids.

She wondered what her grandchildren would think in twenty years if she wasn’t kind to their father.

I realized I hadn’t always been loving, kind, or forgiving, so I make a point of teaching my children the importance of forgiveness. It’s a crucial life lesson – learning to forgive someone who’s hurt you and then letting it go.

Jenner acknowledged that she gets why people are surprised by this behavior, and she knows these men have hurt her daughters in the past.

But Kris said that the bad things in the past have been handled ‘internally and privately.’

‘We don’t need to talk about these things anymore. It’s been done. It’s dealt with,’ she said. 

We’ve all experienced this situation – whether we’ve discussed it on the show or personally lived through it. It’s time to move forward and handle things with maturity. I cherish the relationships I’ve had, and I’m disappointed by recent actions. However, that doesn’t erase the genuine affection I still feel.

Kim and West had a very ugly split that ended in divorce in 2022.

The divorce has been contentious, with public disagreements about their children and money. Kardashian claims the rapper has been trying to control and manipulate the situation.

The exes have four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. 

Khloe Kardashian and Thompson ended their relationship in 2021 following reports of Thompson being unfaithful.

This isn’t the first time the couple has separated. They previously broke up in 2019 following allegations that he had an affair with Jordyn Woods, who is close friends with Kylie Jenner.

Even though they are no longer together romantically, they continue to raise their two children, True and Tatum, together.

Kourtney and Disick met in 2006 and he appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

They dated on and off until 2015 and had three children together: Mason, Penelope and Reign.

On Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality star shared that she and Scott will always be connected, describing them as soulmates, regardless of their romantic relationship status.

After Scott’s accident, I just kept thinking about how much we all care for him. As Kris Jenner said, we absolutely love Scott, and he truly is family. He’s the father of my beautiful grandkids, and honestly, she’s right – he’s like one of her own children. It’s a bond that will always be there.
