With the second season of Fallout arriving on Prime Video this December, viewers can expect Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) to encounter a variety of new characters. The series, based on the popular video game, will continue to follow their journey through the wasteland as they head towards New Vegas.
Season 2 of Fallout will feature some well-known actors joining the cast, playing memorable characters. As Lucy and her group travel west, away from Vault 33, you’ll meet these new faces when the show returns on December 17th, especially as they approach New Vegas.
Justin Theroux as Robert Edwin House

Prime Video
Award-winning actor Justin Theroux, known for his roles in films like Mulholland Drive and the upcoming Beetlejuice 2, will be taking on the role of Robert Edwin House, also known as Mr. House, in Fallout 2. Mr. House is the enigmatic and incredibly powerful CEO of RobCo Industries who secretly controls New Vegas in the year 2281. He’s focused on using his robotics company to ensure humanity’s survival after a nuclear apocalypse. Rafi Silver previously portrayed the character in Season 1.
Mr. House envisions a thriving, post-apocalyptic city in New Vegas and considers himself its leader. When Lucy, Max, and the Ghoul arrive in this ruined version of Las Vegas, they’ll meet Mr. House and those who support his plans. The casting of Justin Theroux is perfect; he’s exceptionally skilled at portraying compelling and larger-than-life villains.
Macaulay Culkin as Unnamed “Crazy-Genius Type”

Prime Video
Macaulay Culkin, best known for Home Alone, will have a significant role in the upcoming season of Fallout. He plays a mysterious, brilliant character, and the trailer shows him violently confronting an armored soldier. Showrunners are intentionally keeping details about his character—including his name—under wraps to surprise fans when the new season premieres in December.
2025 is proving to be a busy year for Macaulay Culkin, with Fallout being his fourth acting role of the year. He also appeared in Running Point and The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, and is slated to be in the upcoming Zootopia 2.
Kumail Nanjiani as a Brotherhood of Steel Pilot

Prime Video
Kumail Nanjiani (known for The Big Sick and Stuber) is the latest major actor added to the cast of Fallout 2. While his character’s name hasn’t been revealed, the trailer shows him arriving at an airplane hangar and sarcastically commenting on a potential civil war, saying he ‘must not have gotten his invitation.’ This, combined with his commanding presence, suggests he plays a leader, likely within the Brotherhood of Steel.
Nanjiani, whether portraying a leader from the Brotherhood of Steel or a skilled pilot (as hinted by his leather jacket with wool details), is expected to bring both humor and action to Season 2 of Fallout, which takes place in the Mojave Desert.
Additional New Supporting Players
In addition to big names like Theroux, Culkin, and Nanjiani joining Season 2 of Fallout, we can also expect a few smaller roles to be filled. We don’t yet know who these actors will play, but they’ll be adding to the show’s cast.
