Katy Perry dazzles in a sparkly silver minidress as she tattoos friend backstage at Madrid concert – after getting matching inkings with her crew to mark the end of European tour

Katy Perry finished her European tour with a memorable finale, giving someone a tattoo backstage at the Movistar Arena in Spain during her last concert on Tuesday night.

The 41-year-old singer began her 24-city European tour last month, finishing in Madrid. She’ll then continue to Asia, with the tour concluding in Abu Dhabi on December 7th.

To mark the end of this tour, she posted some behind-the-scenes photos from the final concert on Instagram Sunday, with the caption: ‘Last show fun in Europe!’

Katy looked stunning in the photos, showcasing her fit physique and long legs in a shimmering, silver, jewel-encrusted strapless dress.

While taking photos and having fun with her team behind the scenes, the pop star also decided to try her hand at tattooing.

A quick photo showed her intensely focused, using a tattoo machine to carefully apply a small ‘K’ to the wrist of professional tattoo artist Berni Coronado Morales.

Katy shared a TikTok video showcasing her tattooing skills, playfully explaining she’s doing tattoos backstage during breaks in her tour. She joked that it’s a ‘side job’ between tour stops.

Referencing her brand new single, she added: ‘who needs a bandaid?’

She got a tattoo of Berni after the artist had tattooed her and her team with matching designs before their ‘The Lifetimes Tour’ ended.

Katy revealed a new tattoo on her wrist last week – half of a butterfly. She coordinated with a friend who got the matching half tattooed on their wrist, and together, their tattoos complete the full butterfly image.

People who follow her immediately assumed the man with the matching tattoo was her new boyfriend, Justin Trudeau.

Rumors of a romance began in July after the pair were seen enjoying a cozy dinner together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

Okay, so everyone’s been buzzing about the singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister – they officially confirmed they’re dating recently! Naturally, fans started speculating when they noticed what looked like matching tattoos, wondering if they’d taken things to the next level with some permanent commitment. It’s the little things, right? We’ll have to wait and see if the tattoos are real and what it all means, but it’s definitely adding fuel to the romance rumors!

Rushing to the comments, they wrote: ‘Matching tats with Justin?’; ‘Is the other hand Mr T’s hand?’

Oh, I thought you were tattooing Justin Timberlake’s initials! He’s a very lucky guy. Does anyone else have a tattoo?

I just wanted to clear things up about my recent tattoos – they’re really personal to me and my team! I even shared a photo on Instagram of one of my crew members getting the same symbol tattooed on her back. It’s a way for us to connect and show our shared bond.

This follows the release of a graphic music video for her new song, Bandaids, earlier this month, which many believe alludes to the reasons behind her breakup with Orlando Bloom.

After nearly ten years of dating, including periods of being apart, and following the birth of their five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, in 2020, the couple split in June.

Katy’s new song clearly alludes to her relationship with the 48-year-old actor, and she thanks Daisy for helping her stay strong.

She confessed she wrestled with the decision to release the song for months, explaining that she was afraid of showing her sensitive side.

She posted some behind-the-scenes photos from the music video and thanked her fans for their support of ‘Bandaids.’ She said she hoped the song would inspire others facing similar challenges to stay strong and persevere.

Katy shared that she was grateful for the positive response to her song ‘bandaids.’ She admitted she’d hesitated for months about releasing it, and even after a long time, it still feels scary to be open and vulnerable with her music.

I hope this song’s lyrics connect with anyone experiencing similar challenges, and that it reminds them they’re not alone, giving them the courage to persevere, just as I did.
