Keith Urban breaks his silence following split with Nicole Kidman – after admitting he’s been ‘completely lonely and miserable’

Keith Urban has unexpectedly returned to social media after staying quiet for nearly two months, following his recent separation from Nicole Kidman.

Country music star Blake Shelton, age 58, recently shared a preview of his new US reality TV show, called ‘The Road’.

I’m so excited about this new series! It showcases twelve incredibly talented, rising country artists, and the winner gets to open for Keith Urban on his tour across America – what a dream come true for them, and so fun for us to watch!

In the video, Keith Urban playfully revisits some of his iconic hairstyles from the past while talking about his real love: creating music.

Blake Shelton joked that years of touring teach you a lot – especially about hair! He tagged Keith Urban in an Instagram post about it, referencing their show, #TheRoad.

Urban then laughed it up at some of his ‘questionable’ looks from his early career.

Shelton shared an amusing old photo of Blake Shelton with long blonde hair. Shelton joked that it showed how he looked when he first arrived.

I was completely baffled about why I wasn’t getting discovered, and I had no idea what was wrong with my appearance.

The show ‘The Road’ debuted in the US on October 19th on CBS and Paramount+, giving viewers a personal glimpse into Keith Urban’s life as a musician.

In the first episode, Urban openly discussed the difficulties of being on tour, sharing how he’s felt ‘completely lonely and miserable‘ while being separated from his family.

As a long-time fan, I always loved what Urban said about pursuing your passion. He believed it wasn’t just about trying, but truly feeling called to something. He’d say you either had that inner drive, that pull, or you wouldn’t succeed – it was that simple for him.

Waking up feeling awful on a tour bus at 3:30 AM, in the middle of nowhere, and having to perform your fifth show of the night… it’s incredibly lonely and makes you miss home and the people you care about.

I often find myself questioning my purpose, wondering why I dedicate myself to this work. And honestly, the only answer that truly resonates is this: it’s simply in my nature. It’s what I was meant to do, a core part of who I am. It feels less like a choice and more like a calling.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the news, and it’s been quite a time for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Just weeks after Nicole filed for divorce after nearly two decades together – and all the joys and challenges of raising their two children – Keith has been opening up about how he’s processing everything. It’s a really honest look at navigating a major life change, and it’s touching to see him share his feelings.

People familiar with Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman say their demanding work lives – Keith’s touring and Nicole filming movies constantly – created distance and a lack of connection, ultimately leading to their unexpected separation.

The former A-list couple’s divorce sent shockwaves through Hollywood.

Sources close to the couple revealed earlier this month that Keith Urban’s alleged ‘midlife crisis’ is the true cause of their split.

He’s been behaving erratically lately, according to RadarOnline, and sources say he’s been making a series of strange decisions.

From what I’m hearing, sadly, Jamie Foxx and Kristin Thomas’s marriage just wasn’t working for him anymore. He apparently felt really stifled and trapped, and those feelings ultimately led to their separation. It’s a tough situation, but sometimes people just grow apart and need space to find their own paths.

Now that the divorce papers have been filed in Nashville, sources say the country singer completely surprised his actress wife with the news.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were working through problems in their marriage and seemed to be reconciling when he unexpectedly told her he wanted a divorce, according to a long-time friend of the actress.

People close to Nicole think Keith had already decided to end the marriage by the time news of their split became public on September 30th.

At the time, reports indicated Nicole was ‘blindsided’ by the break-up.

However, it was the Oscar-winner who filed divorce papers, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Nicole and her former husband, a country singer, have two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
