Oh my gosh, can you believe George Clooney said his kids are going to need therapy after they eventually stumble upon some of his older, less-loved movies? He’s so self-aware, it’s adorable! Apparently, it’s not even the movies themselves that are the problem, it’s his costumes! I’m dying! He’s just the cutest, acknowledging his fashion choices might haunt his children. I need to find this interview immediately!
The 64-year-old actor discussed his career with The Sun, fondly recalling his popular role as Dr. Doug Ross on the TV show ER, which launched him to international fame. He also confessed he wasn’t thrilled with the 1997 film Batman & Robin and considers it a low point in his work.
Let’s talk movies! I remember when he stepped into the role of Batman, sharing the screen with icons like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman. Honestly, despite all that star power, the film really didn’t land well with audiences or critics. It actually racked up a whopping eleven Razzie nominations – those are basically awards for the worst films – and ended up with a dismal 11% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It just goes to show, even a fantastic cast can’t save a movie with a weak story!
George Clooney and his wife, Amal, have eight-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella. He recently admitted he worries about how his children will feel about the movies he’s made.
He joked that regardless of anything else, they’d all need therapy after the experience, referencing the infamous line from the movie Batman & Robin about ‘rubber nipples.’ He called it a ‘disaster’.

George has always been open about why the film didn’t succeed, especially since the movie’s universe suffered after Joel Schumacher directed it.
You know, I was just thinking about this the other day. Someone asked me which movie taught me the most lessons, and honestly? It’s ‘Batman & Robin’! I really did learn a ton making that one – it was a huge learning experience, believe it or not.
We learn much more from our mistakes than from our successes. Overcoming those failures and finding solutions is where true growth happens, which makes the process valuable.
He continued, explaining that he didn’t perform well in the film, and it wasn’t a successful movie overall. However, the experience taught him he needed to fundamentally change his approach to his work.
It wasn’t just about landing acting jobs anymore; I felt responsible for the success of the movies themselves. That’s why I chose to do Three Kings, Out of Sight, and O Brother, Where Art Thou? I was deliberately looking for stronger, more interesting projects.
George is currently promoting his new film, Jay Kelly, and recently shared some unusual details about his personal family life.
The actor and human rights lawyer Amal, 47, welcomed theirt twins in June 2017.
George doesn’t often talk about his family, but he recently shared a heartwarming thought: his twins still enjoy spending time with him, and he feels very grateful for that.

I was so touched when I read his interview with the Express. He described his daily life so simply and beautifully. He said he genuinely feels happy going to work each morning, and that he’s incredibly grateful to return home to his wonderful family. He believes it’s something to be celebrated, and honestly, I completely agree – if you can’t find joy in that, something really is missing.
George spoke about how different he is from his character in the movie ‘Jay Kelly,’ where he acts alongside his friend Adam Sandler. He explained that, unlike the character, he doesn’t carry significant regrets.
Amal, a British-Lebanese lawyer, and George Clooney got engaged in April 2014 and married later that year. They then welcomed twins into their family three years after their wedding.
Although they generally keep their family life private, George has recently shared in interviews that he’s content with how things are going.

Honestly, I just didn’t connect with the character. His big thing was regret, and that’s just not something I experience. Our lives are worlds apart. I’ve been lucky enough to build strong, lasting relationships with everyone I’ve worked with – they’re still a part of my life! And thankfully, my kids and I are really close, so that whole dynamic felt very foreign to me.
‘I mean, they’re eight. They could change. But at this point they still like me.’
He happily stated he had no complaints about fame and was completely content with his life.
Oh my gosh, you guys, George is AMAZING in this new Netflix show, ‘Jay Kelly’! He plays this movie star, but it’s so meta – he basically plays himself, which is just brilliant. And Adam is his manager in the show! I’m already obsessed with their dynamic, it’s hilarious and so clever.
The film boasts a remarkable cast, including Oscar winners Laura Dern and Jim Broadbent, along with Isla Fisher, Billy Crudup, and Greta Gerwig, who recently directed the hit movie Barbie.
