People born into Hollywood families are often expected to pursue careers in the entertainment industry, following in their relatives’ footsteps.

With the phrase ‘nepo baby’ now often used as an insult, many people with famous or well-connected parents are deliberately choosing to avoid public attention.

Will Smith recently surprised fans by sharing a photo with his oldest son. Many people didn’t realize the actor has three children!

Many people know Will Smith’s children, Willow and Jaden, but he also has a son named Trey Smith with his former wife, Sheree Zampino.

Though Trey, age 33, shares his father’s talent for creativity, he’s made a different choice and doesn’t seek the same level of public recognition.

And he is not the only ‘forgotten’ celebrity sibling in Hollywood, as Daily Mail reveals below.

Chloe Delevingne

Chloe Delevingne comes from a famous family – she’s the older sister of model and actress Cara Delevingne, and Poppy Delevingne, who Vogue calls one of the most beautiful and in-demand faces in fashion.

Although Chloe, age 40, shares the same striking good looks as her sister Poppy Delevingne, which could have launched a successful fashion career, she has consistently preferred to stay out of the spotlight.

She describes herself as the quiet member of her family and has always avoided being the center of attention.

The socialite and charity advocate, who helps run Della Vite and The Lady Garden Foundation, generally avoids the media spotlight unless she’s raising awareness for her charities.

Chloe, once known as the rebellious Delevingne sister, has completely changed her lifestyle. She’s given up partying and is now focused on her education.

Unlike her sisters, who were focused on modeling careers with runways and magazine appearances, Chloe dedicated her time to studying biomedical science and tumor biology at University College London.

Driven by her studies, she helped start the Lady Garden Foundation, a charity dedicated to increasing awareness and raising money for women’s reproductive health.

Chloe has also been training to be a midwife in Aylesbury.

She described the experience as challenging yet positive and ultimately very fulfilling. She explained that she was given significant responsibility right from the start, saying, ‘They really throw you in at the deep end pretty early on,’ in an interview with Cotswold Life in 2023.

‘I’ve not done a delivery yet, but have been very involved doing observations on soon-to-be mums.

Being a doula is incredibly rewarding, though demanding. Honestly, if I can be there for a woman during those really vulnerable moments of childbirth and help her achieve the birth experience she wants, then it’s all worth it. It feels like a huge privilege to be able to offer that kind of support.

Frankie Jonas

Twenty years ago, the Jonas Brothers – Kevin, Joe, and Nick – quickly became famous. They achieved success with popular songs and appearances in Disney movies, turning them into well-known figures.

Surprisingly, there’s a fourth Jonas brother that many fans don’t know about – they playfully call him the ‘Bonus Jonas’.

Frankie Jonas, age 25, is the youngest of Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr.’s four children. While his older brothers were already famous and touring, Frankie was still in school.

He’s actually okay with not being famous, having said before that joining the band wasn’t something he ever really wanted to do.

I had a pretty unusual upbringing – I was fortunate enough to travel and see a lot of the world while growing up, and I always had my family with me. I mostly enjoyed experiencing everything as it came.

Like his siblings, Frankie is a musician. Though he hasn’t reached their level of fame yet, he’s built a dedicated fanbase on TikTok.

Trey Smith

Fans were surprised this week when photos surfaced of singer Will socializing with Trey at his birthday celebration.

Will’s voice cracked with emotion as he told his dad, “You know what? I just realized you’re not just my dad, you’re my best friend.” His dad responded with a chuckle, “Yeah, I think so too, I think so.”

Like his brother Will, Trey is becoming well-known in the music industry, starting as a DJ and now pursuing a career as a singer.

Jaden and Willow, his half-siblings, are both successful in entertainment. Jaden has appeared in many popular movies and released three albums, and Willow has also found success as a musician.

Shanna and Carly Evans

Chris Evans, famous worldwide as Captain America in the Marvel films, has a brother, Scott, who also enjoys success as an actor – he’s known for his role in the series Grace and Frankie.

However, the brothers also have two sisters, Carly and Shanna Evans, who prefer to stay out of the public eye.

The sisters enjoy acting as a hobby, and Carly is the reason Chris and Scott got involved in the field.

Carly took classes at the Concord Youth Theatre, with her siblings later joining alongside her.

Lisa Evans shared that her sons used to be fascinated watching Carly perform. They’d point out how Carly got to sing, dance, and receive attention – like gifts and dinner – after her shows. They were envious and declared they wanted to experience that same fun for themselves!

The younger brother began his acting career in 1990, appearing as Frog Boy in the comedy horror film Basket Case 2. This was just a year after his older brother, James, gained recognition on television with Freaks and Geeks.

Tom has since appeared in films like “A Peace of History” (2005) and “Miracle Valley” (2021).

He reunited with his brothers on the set of The Room, contributing as a crew member while Dave and James starred in the leading roles.

In a Vanity Fair interview, Dave Franco revealed that, according to those who’ve met all three Franco brothers, Tom is everyone’s pick as the most likable.

He described him as truly exceptional – handsome, kind, and a joy to be around. They prefer to keep him private and close-knit.

He added: ‘He’s our little secret.’

Tom is a skilled folk artist and helped found the Firehouse Art Collective, a Berkeley, California studio and community space for artists.

Aimee Osbourne

Aimee is following in her father’s footsteps by creating her own music, which she releases under the artist name ARO.

Trent Olsen

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen became famous faces in the 1990s, but they weren’t the only children in their family – they also had two siblings.

I’ve been following the careers of this talented family for a while now, and it’s wonderful to see Elizabeth blossoming as an actress! But it’s interesting to note that their older brother, Trent, has consciously chosen to live a more private life, staying away from the public eye – a refreshing choice in this industry, if you ask me.

Trent, age 41, once hoped to be an actor and appeared briefly in a few films made by his sisters.

Despite earning a degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California, he decided he preferred a more peaceful lifestyle.

I first discovered his work back in 2014 when I saw he was part of the team at Storm King Productions. They were really making a name for themselves with vampire movies and TV shows, and I was thrilled to see him involved! It was a great sign of things to come, and I’ve been following his career ever since.

In addition to writing comics, he enjoys collecting them. Currently, he leads Rogue Matter as editor-in-chief – it’s a digital platform dedicated to comics.

Bryan Spears

The Spears family is once again facing public attention, this time following the highly publicized and debated conservatorship of Britney Spears.

Despite a highly publicized and ongoing family conflict involving her parents, Lynn and Jamie, and sister Jamie-Lynne, one family member has remained out of the public eye.

While the #FreeBritney movement focused on Britney Spears, her older brother Bryan – a television producer – largely remained private and avoided public attention.

Britney’s older brother was also involved in helping with his sisters’ careers back in the early 2000s. He even worked as a producer on the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101, which featured their younger sister, Jamie Lynn.

Many fans were shocked to learn that Hollywood icons Luke and Owen Wilson are siblings.

I’ve always loved seeing Owen and Luke Wilson work together! They’ve collaborated before, and I remember really enjoying the movie they co-directed back in 2005, The Wendell Baker Story. It was great to see both of them, along with Owen, acting in it too!

Oscar nominee Owen has previously thanked Andrew for helping him get his life back on track after a suicide attempt.

He shared that his older sibling moved in with him and supported him in getting his life back on track after he struggled with depression in 2007.

After Luke found Owen and rushed him to the hospital following a suicide attempt, Owen shared that Andrew remained at home with him.

Burt, Brandon and Cassandra Jenner

The Kardashian and Jenner families are famous, but not all of its members enjoy being in the public eye.

Burt and Brandon Jenner, ages 47 and 44, are Caitlyn Jenner’s sons from her previous marriages – Burt’s mother is Chrystie Scott, and Brandon’s mother is Linda Thompson.

Caitlyn also shares daughter Cassandra, 45, with Chrystie.

Although Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s half-siblings have occasionally been seen with their famous family, they generally prefer to stay out of the public eye.

I’ve been following Brandon and Caitlyn’s relationship, and it’s amazing to see how close they’ve become. It’s incredible considering Brandon once shared with Page Six that he barely saw his father – he said it was less than half a dozen times growing up, between the ages of eight and twenty-five. It really puts their current bond into perspective.

Looking back, after my dad married Kris in 1991, she really treated our family like a project, and honestly, I pretty much avoided being around for most of my teenage years because of it. It just wasn’t a comfortable environment for me.

I avoided getting involved in their relationship. Looking back, I realize my dad was really unhappy living there and felt like he wasn’t respected.

Instead of joining the family business like his parents and sibling, Jack is currently working as a bartender in Paris.

Last year, the Daily Mail reported that he started working at L’Area, a popular Lebanese restaurant in the Bastille area.

People said Jack was working both as a bartender and as a cook in the kitchen, where he was known for making delicious and varied appetizers.

The restaurant has shared photos and videos on social media showing him working there, and Lily-Rose making drinks as a bartender.

Jack worked at L’Area for two years and then left, but the owner, Edouard Chueke, believes he’ll come back.

Oh my gosh, I read this interview with Edouard, and he said the sweetest things about Jack! Apparently, Jack is just a really down-to-earth guy who prefers to stay out of the public eye, but he actually worked at the place – behind the bar and even in the kitchen! Can you believe it? It just makes me love him even more!

He was a valuable member of the team and left a few months ago. I anticipate he’ll return sometime next year, as skilled employees are difficult to replace.
