Paul Gascoigne remembers getting into a heated argument with Liam Gallagher in the 1990s. It started when Gascoigne playfully took Gallagher’s steak while they were both at a restaurant.
Let me tell you, I was shocked to hear this! Apparently, a recent exchange between a 58-year-old former footballer and a 53-year-old singer took a really unexpected turn. From what I understand, the singer was absolutely livid after something the footballer said. Things escalated quickly – I’m told there was a lot of harsh language, and then, believe it or not, the singer actually set off a fire extinguisher! It was a pretty dramatic scene, to say the least.
Paul, a very popular figure at the time, shared with FourFourTwo magazine how he went over to chat with the singer of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger,’ who was savoring an expensive steak.
I walked over to Liam, who was eating a steak by himself. He looked up and said, “Wow, come sit down! How are you? Would you like something to eat?”
I told him I wasn’t hungry, but I’d take a drink. While he was getting the drink, I ate his steak. He was furious and demanded to know where his steak had gone.
Paul stated that Liam angrily called him a very offensive name, then quickly left as if to get more food, but immediately came back with a fire extinguisher.

According to The Sun, the footballer stated that someone returned with a fire extinguisher, activated it, and sprayed them with it forcefully.
Daily Mail have contacted Liam Gallagher’s representatives for comment.
This announcement follows Paul’s reveal that a movie about his life is being made.
The England football star is preparing to share his life story with fans, from his modest beginnings in Gateshead to his rise as a top attacking midfielder.
The new six-episode series is currently being made, and casting is underway for the roles of his family members, including his three siblings: Carl, Lindsay, and Anna.
The series will frankly depict the difficult times in Paul’s struggle with addiction, including his experiences in rehab facilities both in this country and overseas.
The famous athlete explained to The Mirror that a film about his life, tentatively titled ‘Gazza: The Life Story,’ is in development. Casting is currently underway, with auditions being held for the actors who will play his sisters, Anna and Lindsay, his brother, Carl, and his mother, Carol.
My mother always supported and guided me. She attended school events like parents’ evenings and came to watch my football games because my father was usually at work.

He explained that his father gave him a ball when he was seven years old, and he’s been playing ever since.
Paul recently shared a heartbreaking story on Good Morning Britain about a tragic childhood experience – a young boy died while in his arms.
The heartbreaking event happened when he was only ten years old. He was watching his friend’s eight-year-old brother, who was struck by a car.
The child had run on ahead of Paul after they had gone to the shops.
Remembering the sad memory, Paul, clearly upset, explained to the hosts: ‘My friend’s younger brother didn’t want to go to the boys’ club, so I promised to watch over him. He was just eight years old, and I was ten.’
We exited the shop, and I urged him to hurry, shouting, “Come on, let’s go!”. He ran a short distance ahead, about a yard, when a car struck him.
I rushed to his side, and he passed away while I was holding him. For a moment, I thought he was still alive because his lips were twitching, and I kept saying he was breathing, but he had already gone. That was the last sign of life he showed.
As someone who’s navigated a lot of life’s difficult moments, I can tell you, losing a child is unimaginable. I recently heard a story from a former footballer – he played for Newcastle and Tottenham, actually – and he described the absolute heartbreak of being unable to leave his child’s side, even during the final, most painful goodbye at the funeral. It really highlighted how a parent’s love just doesn’t end, even in the face of such profound loss.
‘I picked him up out of the coffin at only 10, and I remember him being freezing.
After the coffin was taken away, I went back to stay with my family in that room for another week. I was just ten years old, and being in the same room where the coffin had been was terrifying.
Football became a comfort for Paul, helping him take his mind off a difficult time he now deeply misses.
