According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Christine Quinn—who became a fan favorite during her five seasons on the Netflix show Selling Sunset—is considering coming back after Chrishell Stause left the series.
According to a source, Quinn, age 37, might be willing to return to the show if the deal was exceptionally good. While it’s not known if any formal talks have begun, producers have reportedly always considered her a strong possibility.
‘There has always been talks – every season,’ the source added.
Quinn was part of the original cast that launched the popular real estate show in 2019, alongside stars like Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather El Moussa, Maya Vander, and the Oppenheim brothers, Jason and Brett. She quickly became a fan favorite, known for her sharp wit and stylish looks.
Much of the drama on the show revolved around the conflict between Quinn and Stause. They didn’t get along from the beginning, and Stause publicly criticized Quinn early on for discussing her very public divorce from Justin Hartley.
After being portrayed as a villain and receiving death threats, Christine Quinn left Selling Sunset following season five in 2022. Reports to the Daily Mail indicated her departure was a mutual agreement between her and the show’s producers.
Just before she left, Quinn publicly shared her concerns about what she claimed went on behind the scenes of Selling Sunset.
In a surprising interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she revealed that producers deliberately created drama between cast members, even engineering situations to provoke emotional reactions.

During a podcast interview, Quinn made a disturbing accusation, claiming that Adam DiVello, the creator of Selling Sunset, allegedly told her to take her own life by falling down the stairs.
She admitted to being overly honest and revealed this wasn’t the only complaint she’d made about him. She also stated that, due to his past misconduct, he is still not allowed on set with any of the female colleagues.
DiVello, age 56, is a successful producer known for shows like The Hills, but he hasn’t yet publicly addressed the claims made by Quinn.
Stause, herself, has hinted at some of the toxicity she has dealt with due to the show.
As someone who follows these things closely, I recently learned that the author of ‘Under Construction,’ who’s 44, decided to leave her show because it was really affecting her mental health. She shared with Bustle that it just became too much, and she needed to prioritize her well-being.
She explained that she’s reached a point where she doesn’t rely on the show for income. Fortunately, she has other jobs, and continuing with the show is now detrimental to her well-being.

I’m grateful for everything the show has given me, and I want to focus on the positive despite leaving under less than ideal circumstances. It’s just not the exit I had hoped for.
Chrishell Stause’s surprising announcement follows a period of strained relationships with some of her co-stars, notably her previous close friend, Emma Hernan.
Chrishell Stause, who is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and married to the nonbinary singer G-Flip, has publicly criticized Blake Davis, the on-again, off-again boyfriend of her ‘Selling Sunset’ co-star, for reportedly making racist and homophobic comments.
During the Selling Sunset Season 9 reunion, Hernan criticized Chrishell for discussing their problems publicly, stating he believes their friendship is beyond repair.
According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, Christine’s claims about Chrishell were all accurate.
Quinn appears to be celebrating proving herself right on social media, sharing TikTok videos that playfully tease her previous colleagues.

In one video, she used a voice-over imitating Donald Trump, where he lists ‘drug dealers, drug lords, terrorists… people from mental institutions… hundreds of thousands of major criminals.’ She captioned the video, ‘I see y’all finally met the cast I worked with.’
While fans are excited about Quinn’s potential return to Selling Sunset, there are a few challenges. She no longer lives in Los Angeles; she moved to Texas after her very public separation from her husband, Christian Dumontet, and they share a four-year-old son.
In March 2024, a tech entrepreneur was arrested after allegedly throwing a trash bag filled with glass at his wife. The bag missed her and instead hit their son. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
The couple, who had a famously extravagant wedding showcased on the show Selling Sunset, separated soon after getting married, and both ended up seeking restraining orders against each other.
Dumontet then filed for divorce the following month. The divorce is still ongoing.
According to a source who spoke only to the Daily Mail, in addition to Quinn, another former cast member, El Moussa, might be open to returning to the show. The source quoted them saying, ‘You never know what might happen!’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Quinn, El Moussa and Netflix.
