Major Stranger Things Star Teases They Might Not Be in the Season 5 Finale

Fans are concerned that a main character from the show Stranger Things might die in the final season.

The popular Netflix series, Stranger Things, will conclude with its fifth season. Created by the Duffer Brothers, the final season will be released in three parts. The first part is coming later this month, followed by the remaining two parts in December. The season will consist of eight episodes.

Caleb McLaughlin, who has portrayed Lucas Sinclair on Stranger Things since the beginning, recently suggested he might not appear in the show’s final episode. This information came from a video shared on Twitter by user @_hellshee_.

What did Caleb McLaughlin say about the Stranger Things Season 5 finale?

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, shared that filming the season five finale was the most challenging part of the entire season.

“It’s annoying because we can’t really talk about it,” Wolfhard said.

McLaughlin then added, “My finale was different, so I don’t know.”

Gaten Matarazzo, Wolfhard, and Noah Schnapp seemed puzzled by what McLaughlin said, making it unclear whether he was kidding or if Lucas’s character will have a unique ending. Now, many Stranger Things fans are concerned that Lucas might face some difficult challenges.

Season 5 of Stranger Things will star Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna, and Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts. The first part will be available on November 26, 2025, followed by the second part on December 25, and the third and final part on December 31.
