Verdict on Heart Eyes

Recap

I was on the edge of my seat watching this movie! It’s about a new couple who quickly find themselves hunted by a serial killer – and he only strikes on Valentine’s Day! You really feel their desperation as they try to survive, all while the police scramble to figure out who this terrifying killer is and what drives them.

Best Parts

This movie is a mix of horror and action, focusing on a serial killer who seems to be targeting a couple. The killer is well-designed and truly menacing, with a distinctive appearance. The two lead actors have great on-screen chemistry, and the mystery surrounding the killer’s motives keeps you engaged.

Worst Parts

Some of the scary moments don’t feel genuinely random; they appear staged for maximum impact, which makes them feel less personal. Additionally, the workplace feels overly dramatic, and the intense preparation for a simple date seems strange and doesn’t quite fit.

Final ThoughtsHeart Eyes is a fun slasher and great late-night- horror.
