Adam Peaty’s brother was arrested after reportedly sending threatening messages to the swimmer during his bachelor party.

Adam’s family has reportedly disinvited his mother, Caroline, 59, from his upcoming Christmas wedding to Holly Ramsay, 25, after a disagreement. Family members have accused him of being a ‘narcissist’ due to his handling of the situation.

However, someone connected to the Ramsays has since suggested that significant issues within the Peaty family are the real reason for the disagreement – and these issues are substantial.

According to a source, Holly and Adam, 30, have received serious threats of violence, and the police are now investigating.

According to The Sun, Adam’s brother, 34-year-old James, was arrested at his home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, on Monday and has since been released on bail.

On Sunday night, Adam was removed from a plane by police after receiving threats while celebrating his bachelor party.

When he arrived at Manchester Airport, five police officers in uniform reportedly met him and escorted him through immigration and baggage claim.

Security cameras were being watched for anything unusual, and when Adam was spotted, security personnel guided him outside to a car that was waiting for him.

Police were called after concerns arose that Adam might be attacked. He had initially reached out to his fiancée, Holly, who then contacted the authorities because he was upset.

A friend told me the problems aren’t about party or wedding invites – they’re much more serious than that.

Okay, so things went totally crazy this weekend. This person just started sending Adam the most awful, threatening texts – completely out of nowhere! He was just trying to have a good time at his stag do, you know, celebrate with his friends, but this person was seriously freaking him out. It was awful to see him so stressed and worried when he should have been enjoying himself.

Okay, so then he got this awful message – someone threatened to be waiting for him when the plane landed! He immediately told Holly, and she, being the amazing person she is, talked it over with her family before calling the police. I was so worried for him, honestly! It was terrifying to even think about.

A friend shared that Holly’s parents, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, have been completely supportive of their relationship.

Oh my gosh, I just read this interview with Mark, Adam and James’ dad, and he finally talked about everything! He said they are brothers, which, duh, we all knew, but it’s so good to hear him say it. He explained they’ve always been close, but like, what family doesn’t have fights? He said they argue and fall out and then make up, just like everyone else. But apparently, this time it’s gotten really bad, like way more than just a normal brotherly squabble. I’m so worried about them!

However a source close to Adam and Holly said: ‘This feud is heart-breaking from both sides.

However, Adam believes his mother, Caroline, is actually making things worse for his brother by covering up his problems instead of helping him face them. It’s a really difficult situation, and Caroline must be feeling incredibly conflicted, making it hard for everyone involved.

Holly was spotted on Thursday with a phone case that said ‘Bride’ – her first public appearance since details of a disagreement with her fiancé’s family became known.

The claim surfaced after the Peatys used social media to express their belief that they weren’t invited to the wedding because they are perceived as ‘ordinary people relying on government assistance,’ and don’t match the Ramsays’ sophisticated image.

People familiar with the matter have told Katie Hind at the Daily Mail that the claims made by Gordon Ramsay’s team haven’t been well-received.
