On Thursday, Cruz Beckham impressed everyone with his cooking, giving his older brother, Brooklyn, who hopes to become a chef, some friendly competition.
A 20-year-old musician recently made his own beef wellington after his 26-year-old brother showed him how to do it a few weeks prior.
Cruz shared a video on his Instagram Story showing him glazing the pastry with an egg wash and then putting it in the oven.
Brooklyn filmed himself trimming and seasoning a fillet of beef, then carefully wrapped it in plastic wrap.
David and Victoria’s oldest son prepared mushrooms by chopping and sautéing them. He then seared his beef in a pan and topped it with Dijon mustard.
Oh my gosh, you would NOT believe what he did! It was like a work of art. He started with this perfect layer of spinach on plastic wrap, and then, so carefully, he put the prosciutto and mushrooms on top. Then, the beef – he just wrapped it all up in that spinach, like a precious gift. It was mesmerizing, honestly!
Okay, so after getting everything beautifully assembled, I wrapped the whole dish in pastry. Then, to give it that gorgeous golden sheen, I brushed the top with an egg wash before popping it into the oven to bake. It’s all about those finishing touches, you know?
He was clearly delighted with how it turned out, proudly showing off the golden-brown pastry and the tender, perfectly cooked beef inside.
Alongside the dish, he made Bisto gravy and tucked in giving a nod and a thumbs up in approval.
The dish impressed even Gordon Ramsay, who publicly praised the ‘amazing’ beef wellington he saw on Instagram.
Showing his approval, he wrote: ‘Looks delicious @brooklynpeltzbeckham great job.’
Fans criticized Brooklyn after he didn’t attend his father’s knighthood ceremony last week, following reports of a family disagreement.
David received a knighthood last week in recognition of his contributions to sports and charitable work. He’s particularly known for his twenty-year impact on football and his later work as an ambassador for UNICEF.
Romeo, age 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, joined their father to celebrate his success.
Although Brooklyn didn’t mention the occasion on social media, sources say he also didn’t personally congratulate his father.
People left numerous comments on Brooklyn’s social media, encouraging him to reconnect with his family before he misses out on important moments and feels regret.
A fan commented on a cooking video posted on October 29th, writing: ‘You missed a really important moment with your dad – that’s disappointing to see.’
A second wrote: ‘Your dad became a “Sir” and you were MIA??? You’ll regret this one day.’
Another follower told Brooklyn, “You might not see it now, but you’ll likely regret missing out on these moments with your family. You can’t relive those special times later.”
Oh my gosh, someone else said it! They told Brooklyn he NEEDS to call his dad and congratulate him – it’s such a huge day for both his parents! They were saying he’ll seriously regret it if he doesn’t, and that his dad is just a really down-to-earth, lovely guy. It’s SO true, he absolutely needs to reach out!
Brooklyn was busy promoting his hot sauce brand at the same time David received his knighthood.
Brooklyn reportedly dedicated all his attention to promoting his Cloud23 hot sauce and avoided discussing his family.
Sources say Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz might be willing to resolve their family issues with his parents, but only if certain terms are met.
According to a source who spoke with Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail, the situation became extremely difficult. They believe Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t do anything to warrant the way they were treated.
The rapid increase and strong feelings in the media coverage are difficult to grasp. It’s as if they believed they could relentlessly attack Nicola without facing any repercussions, and they just kept going.
