Isabel Coixet directed and wrote the film, which features Pedro Casablanc (known for Strange Way of Life), Carmen Machi (Aída), and Ana Torrent (There Be Dragons).
ABC Radio Brisbane called the film “an interesting story that highlights the value of love, friendship, and connecting with others.” Cinemanía described it as both refreshing and relaxed.

The story of a man falling for a captivating woman and finding himself while traveling isn’t new, but the performances by Spall and Choudhury are so good, you might think it is, according to The Sun.
Okay, so it wasn’t a hit with everyone. The Observer, for example, thought Timothy Spall did a great job, as always, but even he couldn’t make up for the movie being really slow and kind of a drag. They said the pacing just killed it, sadly.
Did you hear that Timothy Spall and his son, Rafe, were both in a Spanish thriller called Rich Flu last year?

The film centers around a virus that initially affects the wealthy, but quickly spreads to those with even modest savings, leading everyone to abandon their fortunes. As the story explains, there’s nowhere to spend the money once everyone is trying to get rid of it, creating a unique intersection of social commentary and science fiction about a pandemic.
Featuring Mary Elizabeth Winstead from Ahsoka, Lorraine Bracco of The Sopranos, and Jonah Hauer-King known from Doctor Who, the film Rich Flu received mixed reactions from critics.
It Snows in Benidorm is streaming on Netflix until 15 November.
The latest issue of Living Legends is now available! You can find Ariana & Witches at newsstands and online for only £8.99.
