Tammy Hembrow bursts into tears and admits she’s ‘not coping’ amid her divorce from Matt Zukowski: ‘It’s humiliating’

Tammy Hembrow has publicly shared details about her divorce from Matt Zukowski and the difficulties she faced dealing with it while in the spotlight.

The fitness influencer revealed in June that she and her husband, a star from Love Island, were getting divorced after just seven months of being married.

Recently, 31-year-old Tammy Hembrow appeared on her sister Emilee’s podcast, Nova’s Let’s Be Real, with her other sister Amy, to talk about the intense public attention she received during her split.

She admitted it’s been really hard going through her divorce in the public eye, saying it brings up a lot of complicated feelings.

‘It’s humiliating, it’s heartbreaking…’

The mother of three admitted that although her life appears flawless on Instagram, she was actually struggling after her breakup with the 30-year-old reality star.

I’ve really struggled with this, especially at first. It’s definitely made me see things differently, particularly when I think about future relationships.

Tammy explained that she’s feeling conflicted about love. While she still hopes to find a partner, she worries that her fame makes it more difficult.

‘Even if I just go on a date, it’s everywhere. And it’s really frustrating to deal with that.

I need to stop worrying about what others think. Ultimately, every experience teaches you something, and I’m focused on learning and growing from this one.

Five months ago, Tammy announced that she was getting a divorce in an emotional TikTok video.

She explained in the video that she didn’t want to discuss specifics and wanted to be respectful of all parties involved.

Tammy, clearly upset and crying, explained that she went into her marriage expecting it to last a lifetime and accepted full responsibility for what happened.

I haven’t always made great decisions in relationships, and I tend to see the best in people even when I shouldn’t.

The hardest thing about this for me is definitely my children. I’m not worried about myself – I know I’ll manage – but I’m really struggling with how this affects them.

Matt and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.

The couple got married in November 2024, but rumors about them separating started appearing earlier in 2025.

Tammy was recently seen on dates with Australian Rules Football player Bailey Smith, leading to speculation they are dating.
