Supercell expands Regional Pricing update to Clash Royale following Clash of Clans’ rollout

Story Highlights

  • Regional pricing comes to Clash Royale across 100+ countries for fairer in-game purchases.
  • Pass Royale gifting between lower and higher-priced regions will now be restricted.

If you’ve found that prices in Clash Royale didn’t quite match your local cost of living, you’ll be happy to hear that Supercell has made things fairer. They’ve now introduced regional pricing in over 100 countries, meaning prices will vary based on where you are located.

Prices are being adjusted to match the local cost of living, not increased anywhere

This update includes price changes for in-game purchases like gems and the Pass Royale in several regions: Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. Prices will now vary based on the local cost of living in each country, potentially making items more affordable.

Clash Royale is now offering prices tailored to different regions around the world! We’re making these changes to ensure prices are fair based on the cost of things in each country. 🌐

The good news is prices will stay the same or even decrease in some regions. If you live in a country where things generally cost less, you’ll get more for your money in Clash Royale.

To ensure fairness, players in regions where the game costs less can’t send the Pass Royale as a gift to players in regions where it costs more.

Supercell plans to consistently check and update these prices to ensure they remain reasonable. While there might be small variations initially as the changes are implemented worldwide, the goal is to continuously refine and broaden this system.

This change mirrors a recent update to Clash of Clans, which began offering different prices for its Gold and Event Passes based on region. With Clash Royale now doing the same, other games from Supercell will soon follow suit, aiming to make the game fair and enjoyable for players around the world.
