I’m so excited! HandyGames, the folks behind Wreckfest Mobile, just announced that Maneater, the awesome open-world action RPG, is coming to mobile on December 15th! It’s hitting both Android and iOS, and it’s the full game developed by Tripwire Interactive. You can even pre-register for it now, which is pretty cool!

The game’s concept is really unique, and I can’t wait to check out all seven of its huge and varied areas – from the swamps of the Gulf Coast to beautiful beaches and the open sea. The graphics look fantastic, and the realistic day and night cycle adds a lot to the experience. Plus, the challenge of facing both wild animals and human hunters sounds incredibly fun.

The coolest part is you’ll be able to experience that wild feeling by… well, dismantling swimmers and divers to help your shark grow! Plus, you can collect special items to evolve it even further.

This game is definitely worth playing, especially because it features a complete story mode narrated by Chris Parnell, who you might recognize from Rick and Morty and Saturday Night Live.
