Sons Of Anarchy Creator’s New Biker Gang Series Nomad Starring Jason Momoa Comes To Apple TV

The creator of the hit show Sons of Anarchy is developing a new series for Apple TV starring Jason Momoa, called Nomad. Sons of Anarchy, created by Kurt Sutter, ran for seven seasons on FX (from 2008 to 2014) and centered on the lives of a tight-knit motorcycle club in the made-up town of Charming, California.

After the success of Sons of Anarchy, a spin-off series called Mayans M.C. was created. This show followed the Mayans, who were originally rivals but later became allies of the Sons of Anarchy. Co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, Mayans M.C. ran for five seasons between 2018 and 2023.

Kurt Sutter, the creator of Sons of Anarchy, and producer Chris Collins are teaming up with Jason Momoa for a new Apple TV+ series called Nomad. According to Deadline, the show will be set in the dangerous world of New Zealand’s outlaw motorcycle gangs and will center on a conflicted man struggling to balance his loyalty to two different families and ways of life, ultimately forcing him to choose his true path.

Kurt Sutter and Chris Collins are creating the pilot for a new show, with Collins leading the production. He previously worked on popular series like John Wick: Chapter 3, The Man in the High Castle, and The Wire. Sutter, Collins, and Jason Momoa are all executive producers on the project.
