The Super Mario Galaxy Movie trailer unveils first look at new villain and confirms all-star cast

The first official trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is here, giving us a look at the new villain and some of the actors joining the cast. The movie, a sequel to 2023’s Super Mario Bros. Movie, will continue Mario’s story on the big screen.

The trailer features a much smaller Bowser in his tiny castle, being observed by Mario and Luigi. He gets upset, however, when Mario criticizes his new painting, calling it “trash.”

Following a few hints about a space-themed adventure, we meet Bowser Jr., a new villain who’s trying to rescue his father. The story also brings in Rosalina, a popular character from the Super Mario Galaxy game.
