Hollywood star looks unrecognisable as he touches down in Sydney ahead of filming for new action thriller

Fans were surprised by how different Gerard Butler looked when he arrived in Australia this week, as he’s starting work on a new movie.

The 55-year-old Scottish actor looked relaxed and outdoorsy as he walked through Sydney Airport. He was wearing a comfortable outfit: a red flannel shirt over a blue t-shirt, paired with black track pants and white sneakers.

The actor, known for his relaxed style, completed his look with a maroon baseball cap, large headphones, and a khaki duffel bag. He was seen pulling a small suitcase through the airport terminal.

Okay, so I was totally scrolling through fan pages and someone noticed Gerard wearing a ring on that finger! An Oura ring, but still… on his wedding finger! Everyone’s losing it because it’s fueling the rumors that he and Morgan secretly got married! I mean, they’ve been together forever, and this just feels like confirmation! I’m practically hyperventilating, honestly. Is it true?! Please tell me it’s true!

Gerard, 55, and Morgan, 48, who works in real estate and interior design, have been in a relationship since 2014, though it’s had periods of being on and off.

A famous Hollywood actor has arrived in Australia to start filming “Empire City,” an action-packed thriller about a kidnapping. The movie will be filmed in Melbourne later this month.

The actor is expected to remain Down Under for several weeks while production gets underway.

Gerard and Morgan started dating in 2014 but have split several times since then.

They called it quits in 2016, only to get back together the following summer.

The couple also ended their relationship in August 2020, and a source told Us Weekly they were separating amicably and handling things responsibly.

According to a source, Gerard and Morgan ended their relationship because he wasn’t ready to fully commit. Their friends also believed they were better suited as just friends after the breakup.

A few months after the split, Gerard discussed the emotional toll in an interview with news.com.au. He explained that going through a breakup during the pandemic felt like losing someone he loved, and it was far more difficult than he anticipated.

However, the pair were later seen packing the PDA in April 2021.

Gerard has openly shared his wish to have a family, ideally with a committed partner and one or two children.

Back in 2017, he told People magazine he hoped to be in a relationship within five years and start a family, saying he felt ready to have one or two children.

He also complained that his busy work schedule left him with no time for a personal life.

Last year, rumors began circulating that Gerard was dating Sports Illustrated model Penny Lane after photos published by The Sun showed them walking together in Primrose Hill.

I was so excited to see Gerard and Morgan together at the ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ premiere in LA back in June! They really seemed to be enjoying each other’s company on the red carpet, and it was a lovely sight to see.
