Kathy Griffin, 65, reveals the massive price tag of her third facelift

Kathy Griffin has let slip some secret information about her third facelift.

Oh my gosh, I was listening to the ‘Good Guys’ podcast and she finally talked about how much everything costs! I’ve been dying to know, and she actually shared the details! It’s so amazing she’s so open with us, even about the financial side of things. I feel like I’m getting a real peek behind the scenes!

It costs twice as much as Kris Jenner, age 70, reportedly spent on her recent facelift.

The 65-year-old comedian had plastic surgery this spring with Dr. Ben Talei, a well-known surgeon in Beverly Hills.

‘I’ve had three facelifts,’ began the My Life On The D-List star. 

Once I started discussing it on my YouTube channel, things really took off. I was honestly surprised by the doctor’s reaction – he seemed incredibly enthusiastic, almost like he was going to ask me to marry him! So, yes, it was a big moment.

I nearly fell off my chair when Kathy mentioned the cost of her facelift! Before she even told me what she paid, she casually dropped that some doctors are charging up to a million dollars for the procedure. It’s unbelievable!

Kathy then revealed the price she paid for her third time under the knife: a staggering $218,000.

In August Kathy confirmed she had a third face lift.

‘Very taut is also very true!’ she said on her Talk Your Head Off podcast three months ago.

This is my third time saying this, and I feel silly even mentioning it! It just feels self-absorbed. People don’t come to my shows to look at me – they come to hear my jokes, and that’s what matters.

I really don’t want you to focus on my appearance. I’m wearing workout clothes – Lululemons, to be exact – and honestly, I’m just comfortable today. It’s not that I have a distorted body image, but I’m not feeling my best, if that makes sense.

Kathy shared that her recent facial surgery was performed by Dr. Ben Talei, who had also worked on her friend, the singer Sia.

Griffin didn’t only have a facelift; she also had surgery to reshape her eyelids (blepharoplasty), an eye lift to create a more lifted, angled look, and chin augmentation.

I have a small stitch on my chin – you likely won’t notice it unless you’re looking at me from directly below, and not for any inappropriate reason, she clarified.

To be honest, this really hurts. People who say it’s like getting a tooth filled and isn’t a big deal are wrong – it’s actually quite painful.

In 2020, she received hospital treatment for an addiction to several prescription medications – including Oxycontin, Valium, Klonopin, Ativan, Adderall, and Provigil – that began after she suffered injuries.

Griffin explained that he went to a luxurious rehab facility. While it wasn’t exclusively for women – he saw some men there – most people kept to themselves and tried to stay out of sight. He even joked that he had bandages covering his head like a soccer ball.

Leaving that place and coming home can be awful – sometimes you even need a nurse to help. It’s really unpleasant, honestly. For the first night or so, you might have fluid draining from your chin, which is incredibly gross. But ultimately, you become more concerned with how you look.

Griffin successfully fought cancer in 2021, requiring the removal of half of her left lung. She’s also been open about having cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentation, a brow lift, a facial peel, and liposuction.

Her plastic surgery journey originally began in 1986, at age 26, with a nose job.

In October she said she feels her divorce from Randy Bick was ‘harder’ than her lung cancer battle.

She finalized her divorce from her second husband in January, and admitted it was more difficult for her emotionally than receiving her cancer diagnosis in 2021.

Kathy recently shared with People magazine that her divorce was incredibly difficult, even more so than her battle with cancer. She admitted it was a truly devastating experience.

The comedian and actress shared that she hasn’t had much luck finding a partner on dating apps.

She shared a startling dating experience: a man she met casually bragged that he could kill her with just his thumb in less than two seconds. She jokingly commented that this is what dating looks like after turning sixty.
