David Harbour looks nearly unrecognizable in fat suit on set of Evil Genius after bombshell bullying report

David Harbour looked dramatically different while filming his new movie, Evil Genius, in Woodbridge, New Jersey on Monday.

The 50-year-old actor, originally from White Plains, New York, wore padding to make himself look larger, shortly after news surfaced alleging his ‘Stranger Things’ co-star, Millie Bobby Brown, had accused him of harassment and bullying.

The Emmy-nominated actor was seen with gray hair, a beard, and dark-framed glasses while filming the movie directed by Courteney Cox.

Carey Mulligan stars alongside Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette in the crime drama, with supporting roles played by Michael Chernus, Garret Dillahunt, Ryan Eggold, Harlow Jane, and Trevor Long.

Photographs showed him holding a script and speaking with a crew member on set in New Jersey on Monday.

Evil Genius is inspired by the real-life crime detailed in the documentary by Barbara Schroeder and Trey Borzillieri, which centers on the story of the ‘Pizza Bomber’ case.

More than 22 years ago in Erie, Pennsylvania, a 46-year-old pizza delivery driver named Brian Wells tragically died when a bomb exploded after he was forced to rob a bank.

The film’s story begins with a bizarre and disturbing true crime: a pizza delivery driver robbed a bank while wearing a bomb around his neck, and the situation only becomes more strange from there.

The case has left unanswered questions even decades later.

Bryan Cox shared with Deadline that he’s been captivated by the documentary ‘Evil Genius’ ever since he first watched it in 2018, describing it as a story more bizarre than anything you could make up.

‘At moments darkly funny and yet deeply emotional.’

Cox explained that the film tells the story of love, isolation, and how people can be controlled, focusing on those who find themselves caught up in events beyond their control.

David Harbour is famous for his role as Chief Jim Hopper in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, which will conclude after its fifth and final season.

At the premiere party for Stranger Things season five on November 6th in Hollywood, California, actors David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown appeared to be on good terms with each other at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres.

This followed a Daily Mail report that show officials investigated Harbour after Brown raised concerns about his behavior during filming.

According to a source, Millie Bobby Brown reported experiencing harassment and bullying before filming began on the final season.

As a longtime follower of this case, I remember hearing there was just a massive amount of evidence – literally pages and pages of accusations leveled against those involved. And it wasn’t a quick process either; the investigation dragged on for months, really digging into everything.

Stranger Things’ fifth season begins streaming on Netflix November 26.

These accusations of bullying surfaced while David continues to navigate the fallout from his split with singer Lily Allen, which happened earlier this year.

Singer Lily, age 40, recently released her album ‘West End Girl,’ which seems to imply her ex-partner had an affair with someone named Madeline.

Earlier this month, David broke his silence on his divorce from Lily.

In a September interview with Esquire Spain, shortly before releasing his album ‘West End Girl’, the actor discussed his life experiences, including the challenges and errors he’d faced as he approached his 50th birthday.

Lily explored his wrongdoings in her semi-autobiographical album, specifically on the tracks ‘Tennis’ and ‘Madeline’. She wrote these songs after learning about his three-year affair and multiple betrayals.

Lily’s new song, Madeline, is about discovering her partner David was unfaithful. The lyrics express her distrust, with a line stating, ‘I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth’.

I’ve always been fascinated by Lily Allen’s song ‘Tennis’. It’s about her discovering a text on her boyfriend’s phone from another woman, and the whole song seems to be her playfully, but pointedly, questioning him about who she is. It’s such a relatable and clever way to express jealousy and suspicion!

When asked if he’d change anything from the past fifty years, David replied that it was a difficult question. He explained he would either change everything or nothing at all.

Embrace your life’s journey fully, understanding that even challenges, failures, and mistakes are valuable parts of it. These experiences offer opportunities for learning, personal growth, increased understanding, and stronger connections with others.

It’s a very delicate system – if you alter even one part of it, everything else needs to be adjusted as well.

He said if he could change things, he’d essentially change everything to simply be happier and have more fun, but doing so would mean giving up his identity as an artist, which he wouldn’t want.
