Rosamund Pike was one of the most beautiful Bond girls of all time.

Rosamund Pike, a British actress, played the role of MI6 agent Miranda Frost alongside Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry in the 2002 James Bond film, Die Another Day. Her character was assigned to help Bond on his mission.

The actress, now 46, famously turned heads at the ice house party wearing a shimmering silver dress with one shoulder exposed, as her character attempted to charm James Bond.

Pike has collaborated with several prominent actors, including Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, and Jacob Elordi, on various movies.

She wore a bright yellow, sleeveless dress to the premiere of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t in New York City on Monday evening.

Her career really kicked off with her 007 role.

Her role in the 2002 film Die Another Day launched a continuous run of acting work that has lasted for more than twenty years.

She went on to appear in supporting roles in popular films like Pride & Prejudice (2005), An Education (2009), and Made in Dagenham (2010).

Following those early roles, Atkinson appeared in several more widely released films, including Johnny English Reborn (2011), Wrath of the Titans (2012), Jack Reacher (2012), and The World’s End (2013).

Rosamund Pike was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance as Amy Dunne in the 2014 thriller, Gone Girl.

Pike then turned up in A United Kingdom (2016) and A Private War (2018).

She won laughs in the comedy I Care a Lot (2020). 

Rosamund Pike starred in the series State of the Union (2019) and The Wheel of Time, and most recently appeared in 3 Body Problem (2024).

Pike was born in 1979 in Hammersmith, London.

An agent discovered her while she was performing as Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet with the National Youth Theatre.

She graduated from Wadham College, Oxford in 2001.

Pike began her acting career on British television, appearing in shows like ‘A Rather English Marriage’ (1998), ‘Wives and Daughters’ (1999), and the miniseries ‘Love in a Cold Climate’ (2001).

Then came the Bond film which changed her life.

Pike then played Elizabeth Malet in The Libertine (2004), co-starring Johnny Depp.

In the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice, she played Jane, the older sister of Keira Knightley’s character, Elizabeth.

She played the role of a lawyer who was very good at her job in the movie Fracture, alongside Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling.

Looking back at my work, I really enjoyed being part of ‘Made in Dagenham’ back in 2010. Then, a couple of years later in 2012, I had the incredible experience of playing Queen Andromeda in the big fantasy adventure, ‘Wrath of the Titans.’ It was a fantastic journey!

Her breakthrough role came with a major Tom Cruise film, where she played Helen Rodin, the leading lady in the thriller Jack Reacher.

The following year she had a supporting role in The World’s End (2013).

Rosamund Pike appeared in the 2014 psychological thriller Gone Girl, directed by David Fincher and co-starring Ben Affleck.

In 2018, Rosamund Pike played war correspondent Marie Colvin in the film A Private War. She’s also known for her roles in the thriller The Informer and the biographical movie Radioactive.

In 2021, Pike starred as con artist Marla Grayson in the crime thriller I Care a Lot.

In 2021, Pike starred in and executive produced the eight episode historical fiction podcast Edith!

Brannon Pike was one of the executive producers for the Netflix series, 3 Body Problem, which is adapted from the novel The Three-Body Problem.

In April 2024 it was revealed Pike had joined the cast of In the Grey by Guy Ritchie. 

Now she is in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

On Monday she lit up the premiere in a yellow dress. 

Since December 2009, Pike has been with businessman Robie Uniacke, who is 18 years her senior.
