Amy Schumer flaunts 40lb weight loss during NYC stroll after taking $1.25M New Orleans home off the market

Amy Schumer recently showed off her weight loss, which she achieved with the help of the medication Mounjaro, during a casual, make-up-free walk near Central Park in Manhattan.

The comedian, age 44, has achieved her slimmest figure in years after starting a popular weight-loss drug earlier this year. The drug helped her lose weight, bringing her 5’7″ frame to a healthier size.

According to functional nutritionist Monica Partier, who spoke to the Daily Mail on October 24th, Amy has lost a significant amount of weight over the last three months.

She’s lost at least 40 pounds and now weighs around 130 pounds, which is quite slim for someone who is 5 feet 7 inches tall. It’s great to see she looks much happier and more confident about her health.

Senator Schumer had liposuction in 2022 and has since been sharing photos of her toned physique online, with her Instagram account now featuring glamorous images of her new body.

On April 9th, the Emmy-winning producer, who has 16.6 million followers on social media, shared their positive experience with Mounjaro, saying they haven’t experienced any side effects so far.

Schumer had a very unpleasant experience with Ozempic in 2022, feeling so nauseous she was unable to get out of bed.

I actually threw up and felt completely drained afterward. But it seems like other people have no problem with it, which is great for them,” the New Yorker said on The Howard Stern Show on January 29th.

I was really sick, throwing up and stuck in bed, but my six-year-old son, Gene, still wanted to play tag. I just couldn’t – I felt awful and was quickly losing weight, about 30 pounds. It was strange, looking healthy but being too weak to even lift my head. What was the point of feeling good if I couldn’t even function?

Currently, the FDA has authorized only three medications—Wegovy (semaglutide), Saxenda (liraglutide), and Zepbound (tirzepatide)—specifically for weight loss. Other similar drugs are approved only for treating type 2 diabetes.

Many well-known figures, such as Oprah Winfrey, Kathy Bates, Kelly Clarkson, Whoopi Goldberg, Serena Williams, Meghan Trainor, Elon Musk, Rebel Wilson, Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, Sharon Osbourne, and Tori Spelling, have publicly shared that they’ve used medications originally intended for people with diabetes.

While some celebrities have publicly acknowledged using Ozempic for weight loss, many others, like Selena Gomez, Mindy Kaling, Melissa McCarthy, Khloé Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Lana Del Rey, Christina Aguilera, and Ricki Lake, haven’t said anything about it despite noticeable weight loss.

I was really surprised to hear that Amy Schumer decided not to sell her beautiful New Orleans home! Apparently, she changed her mind after just listing it on October 26th. She’d owned the two-bedroom place in the French Quarter for four years and it really seemed like her dream home, so I guess she got a little hesitant about letting it go.

The online listing for the 1,967-square-foot home—originally built in 1886 and updated in 2022—is no longer available on FQR Realtors’ website.

The producer of ‘Room to Move’ and her husband, Chris Fischer, are selling their Brooklyn brownstone for $12.75 million. The five-bedroom home, which appeared in the 1987 film ‘Moonstruck’, has been their property for just three years.

Senator Schumer and his wife, a 45-year-old chef, hired a nanny named Jane and are planning to have another child. They have three frozen embryos and intend to use a surrogate mother to give their six-year-old son, Gene, a sibling.

Midi Health’s investor met Chris, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, through his sister – who works as her personal assistant – only five months before they got married.

Amy Schumer will be involved in the production and script editing of the upcoming romantic comedy, ‘Now More Than Ever.’ The film tells the story of an Israeli soldier injured during the October 7, 2024 Hamas attack who becomes a national symbol and travels to New York to share his story.

The creator and star of ‘Kinda Pregnant’ is related to Senator Chuck Schumer – they’re second cousins. Senator Schumer is currently under pressure to step down as the Democratic leader in the Senate due to his approach to the recent government shutdown.
