Leigh-Anne Pinnock quietly calls time on her struggling swimwear brand after it failed to make a profit as its website disappears

Leigh Anne Pinnock has closed down her swimwear line after it wasn’t financially successful.

Okay, so, like, Jesy Nelson – seriously, a QUEEN – she’s been selling bikinis through her brand, In A Seashell, and I’m obsessed! The best part? She’s making them for everyone! Like, all body types and shapes are welcome, and they’re £30! I already bought three, honestly. She just gets it, you know?

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following Leigh-Anne’s journey, and it’s been amazing to see her launch her own line! She started it back in 2019 with her close friend and business partner, Gabrielle Urquhart, and they even got input from Leigh-Anne’s sister, Sairah – it’s clearly a real family affair!

She frequently appeared in advertisements modeling swimsuits, ranging from a vibrant blue ruffled bikini to a delicate floral two-piece.

It appears the business is now closed. Their website is no longer online, their products have been taken off ASOS, and they haven’t posted on Instagram since February.

Although the company’s parent organization is still operating, recent financial reports show the company itself hasn’t yet turned a profit after six years in business. This includes the period during the pandemic when travel was restricted.

Pure & Obsession Ltd, the company behind the fashion brand, had debts totaling £165,000 as of 2025, according to its financial statements.

A few fans recently realized Leigh-Anne Pinnock‘s In A Seashell website was no longer working and shared their concern on social media, with one writing, ‘What happened to the website?’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Leigh-Anne for comment.

This follows Leigh-Anne’s recent honest discussion about difficulties she’s been facing in her marriage to Andre Gray.

Last month, she appeared on the “Shagged, Married, Annoyed” podcast with Rosie and Chris Ramsey. During the conversation, she opened up about the challenges of family life with her four-year-old twin daughters and her husband, Andre, who is 34.

Andre currently plays professional soccer for Fatih Karagümrük in Turkey, which requires him to be away from his family in the UK for extended periods.

Leigh-Anne talked about the challenges of her long-distance relationship, explaining that she and her husband only get to see each other for about three days a month, which she finds really difficult.

She confirmed they’ve been living in Turkey for the past three years, adding that her twins recently turned four.

Host Rosie then remarked: ‘That’s hard, that must be hard for him as well though?’

Leigh-Anne replied: ‘So hard. He’s struggling a little bit to be fair.’

I was so thrilled to hear that the singer and Andre finally got married in June 2023! It feels like just yesterday they became parents to their adorable twins back in August 2021. They’re such a beautiful family!

However, their relationship hasn’t always been plain sailing. 

In a June 2024 TikTok video, Leigh-Anne shared that her husband, Andre, had hurt her feelings early in their relationship.

In the video, the celebrity suggested the couple had faced difficulties, explaining that he had altered his behavior to maintain their relationship.

Leigh-Anne shared that she discovered the importance of forgiveness because the footballer made a real effort to improve himself for her.
