Gravity Game Tech announced that their open-world online role-playing game, previously known as Project Abyss: Next Ragnarok, will now be called Ragnarok Abyss. Pre-registration is now available for the game on Android, iOS, and PC. The new name was chosen after a naming contest involving the game’s community.

The game’s name actually came from a fan event called “First Explorers – Let’s name our world!” where players got to suggest titles for Project Abyss: Next Ragnarok. The team ultimately chose “RO: Abyss,” and they feel it’s a perfect fit.

The game features a huge, seamless world to explore – no more waiting for areas to load! It also has realistic, ever-changing weather and day-night cycles that really immerse you in the experience. Things like rain, snow, and sandstorms actually impact how you play. Plus, you get to create a completely unique character with tons of customization options, including hairstyles, skin tones, and a detailed dye system.

The combat is fast-paced and action-packed, without slow spellcasting or repetitive grinding – something I really appreciate. Even so, the game includes an offline system that continues progress while you’re not playing, so you won’t fall behind.

This game looks really promising! It features a smooth, open world to explore, along with changing weather and a day/night cycle. You can customize your character and the gameplay and graphics are similar to Genshin Impact. It also has a traditional job system with exciting, fast-paced combat, and plenty of hidden treasures.
