Three Men and a Baby star who also appeared in Blake Lively’s hit film steps out in LA… can you guess who?

An actress famous for her role in the 1990s film Three Men and a Baby was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday, taking advantage of the pleasant autumn weather.

The 64-year-old actress played the mother of the main child character alongside Tom Selleck in the 1987 film and its 1990 sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady.

As someone who keeps a close eye on rising stars and enduring talent, I’ve always been impressed with this actress’s consistent work. She’s built a fantastic career with memorable roles in films like ‘So I Married an Axe Murderer,’ ‘Married to the Mob,’ and even more recent hits like ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.’ It’s been wonderful to watch her shine in everything from comedies to thrillers – a true testament to her versatility!

She’s also appeared on television, playing Tim Allen’s wife in Last Man Standing and working alongside Michael Douglas in The Kominsky Method.

Before getting her start in front of the camera, she entertained audiences off-Broadway.

Can you guess who this celeb is?

If you guessed Nancy Travis, you were correct!

Travis was seen taking her two dogs for a walk in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

Travis is a loving dog owner and mother to two sons, Benjamin E. and Jeremy, whom she shares with her husband, Robert N. Fried, a producer.

Mike Fried produced Nancy Dowd’s film, So I Married an Axe Murderer, and the two married in 1994, shortly after the film came out.

The actress, known for her approachable, everyday look, gained recognition in 1987 when she starred alongside Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg in the popular film Three Men and a Baby.

Next came 1988’s Married To The Mob with Pfeiffer.

That year, she also appeared in two popular films: the baseball drama Eight Men Out, starring John Cusack, and the holiday comedy I’ll Be Home for Christmas with Hal Holbrook.

In the 1990s she had hit after hit.

In 1990 she starred Loose Cannons as Riva opposite Downey.

In 1990, she took on a more significant role in the film Internal Affairs, starring alongside popular actor Richard Gere as a character named Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Avilla.

In 1990, she starred alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Mel Gibson in the film Air America. She also had a role in Three Men and a Little Lady that same year.

In 1992 she starred in Passed Away as Cassie Slocombe.

She played a significant part as Joan Barry alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the acclaimed 1992 film Chaplin, which received Oscar nominations.

In 1993 she played Rita Baker in The Vanishing that starred Jeff Bridges and Kiefer Sutherland.

And in 1993 she was the star of So I Married an Axe Murderer with Mike Myers.

She has worked consistently since.

In 1995, Travis moved to TV with the sitcom Almost Perfect.

And then there was the Lifetime romantic drama film, My Last Love in 1999

In 2002, Travis played the main role of Dr. Joyce Reardon, a psychology professor, in the four-hour TV adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘Rose Red.’

She returned to acting in films, appearing in the 2005 movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants alongside Blake Lively.

And in 2007 she was seen in The Jane Austen Book Club adapted from the 2004 novel of the same name.

In 2009 she starred in the Hallmark Channel film Safe Harbor, about a happily married couple.

She then was a guest star in two episodes of Desperate Housewives.

Next came roles on Grey’s Anatomy and How I Met Your Mother.

In 2011, Travis was cast in the ABC sitcom Last Man Standing opposite Tim Allen.

As a TV enthusiast, I remember when Last Man Standing originally wrapped up in 2017 after six fantastic seasons and 130 episodes. But thankfully, Fox brought it back in the fall of 2018! We all got a little more time with the show before it finally concluded in 2021. It’s always great to see a beloved series get a second chance, and I was thrilled it did!

From 2017 to 2018, Travis portrayed the former spouse of Brendan Gleeson’s character in the crime thriller series, Mr. Mercedes.

In 2018, Travis starred opposite Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin in the series The Kominsky Method.

She recently appeared in the film Ordinary Angels with Hilary Swank, and has also had parts in NCIS and Shifting Gears this past year.
