ITV has announced the cast for its upcoming six-part legal thriller, Saviour. Aidan Gillen, Anjli Mohindra, and Shaun Parkes will star in the series, which is written by Imran Mahmood, a criminal barrister who also writes novels and screenplays.
Archie Fisher will play Ben in the series. Ben is involved in a fight that accidentally leads to a man’s death. This happens while Ben is dressed in his father’s old police uniform for a costume party.
At trial, Ben is legally represented by Indy Sangar, a solicitor who has recently gained the right to appear in the Old Bailey court.

I’m excited to hear that Parkes is going to be playing Detective Inspector Jon Creasy! And Abhin Galeya will be playing Dev Sangar, who’s Indy’s husband – sounds like a great cast so far.
I was really impressed with the cast! Alongside the main actors, we had some amazing performances from Tobias Jowett, Nethra Tilakumara, Angus Wright, Claire Goose, Adjani Salmon, Campbell Wallace, and Precious Wuru Alabi. They all brought something special to the game.

Indy takes on the case of a man accused of murder, and quickly finds herself facing a tangled web of issues. She battles police corruption, navigates complex racial tensions, deals with intense media scrutiny, struggles against a rigid legal system, and tries to uncover the truth from a client who isn’t telling her everything.
However, while she’s desperately trying to free Ben, long-held personal secrets are starting to emerge, potentially destroying her career and family.
“Saviour asks the question – how far are you prepared to go to protect the ones you love?”
Polly Hill, ITV’s Head of Drama, has greenlit the new series. It will be shown on ITV and STV, and available to stream on ITVX and the STV Player.

In a recent statement, she expressed her excitement about collaborating with Nisha Parti, whose work she’s been a fan of for some time. She also shared her pride in the fact that this project marks Imran Mahmood’s debut TV drama.
We’re thrilled to be working with Nisha, the incredibly talented Peter Moffat and his team at Drama Republic to bring this wonderful story to life. The actors – Anjil, Shaun, and Aidan – are all fantastic, and I’m confident audiences are going to really enjoy this exciting new drama.
I’m incredibly excited this show is finally happening, thanks to the amazing work of Imran and Peter. I really appreciate Polly Hill believing in the script so early on, and I’m thankful Drama Republic joined us to help guide the project so well.
We’re also grateful to All3Media International and the Liverpool City Region Production Fund for their financial support. It was a fantastic experience working with such a talented and diverse team – including Anjli, Shaun, and Aidan – alongside our wonderful female directors to bring the Saviour family’s story to life. I’m incredibly excited to share the show with audiences soon.
A release date for Saviour has yet to be announced.
Saviour will air on ITV, STV, and stream on ITVX and STV Player.
