Plunder treasures and face off against giant creatures in Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage
Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage is a unique indie game where you build a card deck and embark on a swashbuckling adventure. Set in the world of New Elyisa, it continues the story of the original Pirates Outlaws, but focuses on a new hero and takes place years later.
Okay, so here’s where I get to jump into the mansion and finally pick my character! I can choose a class, which gives me cool abilities, and a starting deck of cards. But this time it’s even better – I can also pick a Companion! They give me extra ability cards right from the start, letting me build some seriously awesome combos and start my big adventure.

The game features two modes: Campaign, for open exploration, and Arena, where new rewards are immediately available. Battles are turn-based and improved with a unique system: each card you play moves the countdown timer closer to your opponent’s next turn.
This sequel brings numerous changes while maintaining the core identity of Pirates Outlaws
Collect and combine cards to make them stronger, find relics to boost your character’s abilities, and create a winning strategy for the Arena. You can also enjoy the Campaign mode, where you’ll explore, defeat powerful sea captains, and battle massive monsters – it’s a really exciting experience!
This sequel doesn’t drastically change how the game plays. The developers kept many popular elements from the original, like the core rules where actions depend on a single condition, the way ammo works, the limit of six cards you can hold at a time, cards that let you mix close-combat, ranged, and special abilities, the use of curses, and the variety of enemy types you’ll encounter.
Okay, putting aside how similar it is to the original, I’m really hyped for what’s new in this sequel! I love that the Hero will have different special abilities, and the addition of pre-built starter decks is awesome. Plus, they’re adding unique ability cards, a completely new armor and shield system, and a cool card evolution tree – it all sounds fantastic!
Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage will be released on Android, iOS, and PC this December. PC players can get early access starting December 4th. Check back here for the latest news and updates!
