Chris Brown ‘splashes out an eye-watering £160K during wild night out in London’ ahead of his trial in the capital over alleged bottle attack

Chris Brown reportedly dropped a whopping £160,240 during a lavish night at London’s Selene nightclub last week.

The 36-year-old singer, facing trial next year for an alleged assault with a bottle, reportedly spent the night partying with models and other rappers.

Chris reportedly paid for an incredibly expensive bar tab, including five bottles of champagne costing £3,000 each, eight bottles of vodka at £900 apiece, and three bottles of Clase Azul Tequila, each priced at £1,200.

The trendy Soho spot shared a photo of the bill on Instagram, but didn’t say who paid for it.

However, Chris’s friends revealed details of his luxurious trip to the UK by sharing photos on social media.

According to a source, Chris enjoys a lavish lifestyle and isn’t afraid to spend money on luxury items.

Daily Mail has contacted Chris’ representatives for comment.

The Grammy-winning artist will be released on bail and allowed back into the United States following charges related to an alleged assault on a music producer. Details emerged last month regarding the incident and subsequent legal proceedings.

On February 19, 2023, he is accused of hitting Abraham Diaw repeatedly on the head with a tequila bottle while at the Tape club in Mayfair, Hanover Square.

Security camera footage reportedly shows the actor running after the producer and then physically assaulting him with kicks and punches.

He was arrested in May at the Lowry Hotel after arriving in Salford by private jet. He appeared in court last month with his fellow defendant, Dallas-based rapper Omololu Akinlolu, age 38.

They both denied attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to Mr Diaw.

Okay, so in the recent case, I’m hearing that Chris has pleaded not guilty to two charges. He’s denying that he assaulted Mr. Diaw, causing him actual physical harm, and he’s also saying he didn’t have a weapon with the intent to cause harm. Basically, he’s contesting both the assault and the possession of a weapon.

Akinlolu also denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Mr Diaw.

Chris showed up at Southwark Crown Court dressed in a loose white shirt, a black tie, and glasses. He was there to request a change to the terms of his bail.

Prosecutor Heide Stonecliffe KC said Brown’s bail variations were agreed in ‘unusual circumstances.

Those following this case shouldn’t think the defendants will be freely allowed back into the United States without any restrictions.

Judge Tony Baumgartner informed Mr. Brown and Mr. Akinlolu that they can return to the United States, as long as they follow the conditions he detailed in the updated bail order.

You must return to the UK when asked and report back to the court as required by your bail conditions.

Judge Baumgartner stated that if the two men don’t show up for their trial, which is scheduled for October 2026, the trial will proceed without them.

The judge didn’t publicly state all the conditions of Brown’s bail, but confirmed they were very strict.

Chris had been released on bail with certain requirements, including a £5 million payment to the court and giving up his passport.

He could also not contact Akinlolu or Mr Diaw nor attend the Tape nightclub.

After the bail hearing in May he wrote on his Instagram: ‘From the cage to the stage!’

If he breaches any bail condition he could be liable to forfeit the security.

Chris and Akinlolu will face a week-long trial on October 26 next year.

They will next appear in court on January 28 for a case management hearing.

The rapper became famous early in his career, initially showcasing his soulful R&B vocals before transitioning to rap. He also gained public attention through his relationship with singer Rihanna.

Chris Brown first became famous in 2005 with his first album, simply titled ‘Chris Brown’. Since then, he’s released ten more albums and an impressive 64 singles.

He’s known for popular songs like “Run It!”, “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)”, and his duet with Jordin Sparks, “No Air”.
