Denise Richards gets a 5-year restraining order against Aaron Phypers in acrimonious divorce

As Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers continue their difficult divorce, a court order requiring Aaron to stay away from Denise remains in effect.

A judge in Los Angeles has made a temporary restraining order against Kim Richards’ ex-boyfriend, Greyson Phypers, permanent. The five-year order, granted on Friday, prevents Phypers from owning firearms, contacting Richards, or engaging in any abusive behavior. It will remain in effect until November 7, 2030, according to People magazine.

Lawyers for Richards and Phypers didn’t respond to requests for comment on Friday.

The ruling follows several months of difficult hearings where serious claims about their relationship were revealed, including accusations of cheating, drug use, and abuse.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers are divorcing after being married for six years. Aaron Phypers filed for divorce from the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star on Monday.

After six years of marriage, 53-year-old businessman Phypers filed for divorce from 54-year-old actor Richards in July. The divorce filing cited irreconcilable differences, and Phypers is requesting financial support. Court documents reveal that Phypers hasn’t earned any income since his business closed last year, while he estimates Richards earns over $250,000 each month through various ventures like endorsements, television work, and content creation on OnlyFans. Phypers wants to maintain ownership of his personal property, including tools, a motorcycle, and a sports car, and keep any debts separate.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers started dating in 2017 and got married privately in Malibu in September 2018. Denise has three daughters – two with her former husband Charlie Sheen, and one she adopted as a baby. Before marrying Denise, Aaron was married to actress Nicollette Sheridan from 2015 to 2018.

Shortly after Phypers initiated divorce proceedings, Richards responded with serious accusations about their marriage. She sought a temporary restraining order, which the Los Angeles County Superior Court granted, claiming Phypers was abusive, made death threats, and illegally owned weapons. Phypers denied these claims. As a result, the court ordered him to stay at least 100 yards away from Richards, her home, her car, and her workplace, and prohibited him from owning guns or body armor.

Halle Bailey and her former boyfriend, rapper DDG, have agreed to pause their disagreements in the ongoing legal case about their son, Halo.

Actor Richards, known for “Wild Things,” has spoken about alleged abuse that happened during her marriage. This reportedly occurred between July 4th and July 14th, after she had moved out of the marital home and into three separate townhouses – one used as a studio, another as an office, and the third as her home.

Since July, the couple has been publicly arguing through statements and legal filings. Phypers claimed Richards cheated on him and frightened his parents when she visited their home in Calabasas in early August to pick up her dogs. Richards, in turn, accused Phypers and his family of not leaving the Calabasas house after repeatedly failing to pay rent and of damaging the property.

While still involved in a legal dispute, Phypers was arrested in October following a tense hearing at the courthouse. TMZ reported that he was charged with two felonies related to domestic violence and two felonies for allegedly threatening someone to prevent them from being a witness. He was released shortly after posting a $200,000 bond.
