A new balance patch for 6v6 in Overwatch 2 will arrive next week.
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new update to balance the gameplay in Overwatch 2’s team-based 6v6 modes.

Overwatch 2 6v6 patch notes
Blizzard announced that they’re updating the 6v6 game modes in Overwatch 2 next week. Based on their usual update schedule, we expect these changes to be released on Tuesday, November 11th.
The Overwatch 2 team shared that while most players prefer the current five-versus-five format, a significant number still enjoy the older six-versus-six style of play.
The post then shared that player feedback helps the team refine and improve those game modes.
Overwatch 2 Season 20 teasers
Looking ahead, Overwatch 2 Season 20 will add a new feature designed for top-level players. The update will also include a new Stadium map connected to the game’s ongoing story.
We’re holding some surprises back for Season 20, but we’re excited to announce a new feature designed for our most skilled players. This feature was created based on feedback we received directly from them. Also in Season 20, we’re adding a new Stadium map set in a location you haven’t seen before in our maps – though it should seem familiar if you’ve been following the recent story updates.
