Denise Richards has received a court order protecting her from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Aaron Phypers, for the next five years.
A Los Angeles judge issued a restraining order against the 53-year-old wellness expert ex-partner of the 54-year-old actress on Friday.
According to People magazine, Phypers is legally prohibited from owning firearms, harassing Richards, contacting her, and engaging in other restricted behaviors.
If communication occurs, Richards is permitted to record any conversations with Phypers, according to the website.
The order is reportedly scheduled to expire on November 7, 2030.
Daily Mail has reached out to a rep for Richards to comment but did not immediately hear back.
Phypers filed for divorce from Richards in July after six years of marriage.

This comes after Richards claimed that her ex subjected her to domestic abuse.
Phypers’ cousin, Kathleen McAllister, supported Richards’ claims that her ex struck her.
In her virtual testimony, McAllister stated that she witnessed Aaron strike Denise on January 17, 2022, resulting in a severe black eye. She added that the event continues to shock her even now.
On September 15th, Phypers responded to the domestic violence claims she originally made in July. Those claims were part of a request for a restraining order against her partner, alleging a pattern of abuse throughout their six-year marriage.
Court records obtained by People magazine show he has responded to her accusations and stated they are false.
In his statement, he asserted that protective orders weren’t necessary because he had never harmed her and had no intention of doing so.
He also alleges that his ex has been ‘frequently’ phoning and messages him and his father.

He stated that she wanted others to repeatedly ask him to call her, to the point of harassment, in order to show she wasn’t afraid of him and to portray herself as the aggressor.
Phypers has also claimed the actress has ‘attacked’ and ‘harassed’ him ‘many times.’
In other parts of the documents, he described an incident that supposedly happened on August 3rd. He claimed she forcefully entered the private living areas of family members, including his brother’s room – which was recorded – and went through his personal belongings, violating his privacy.
I can’t believe she did that! Denise just completely destroyed my phone, like, smashed it. Then, she didn’t even own up to it! She actually threw it in the trash – buried it under a mountain of garbage – and then lied straight to my face, saying she hadn’t touched it. It’s unbelievable, honestly. I’m just… devastated. It wasn’t just a phone, you know?

The couple got married in 2018 with a beautiful beach ceremony that was featured on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After a heated argument in July led to her filing for divorce, Phypers had initially dismissed claims of abuse as false.
Look, this situation is messy, and sadly, I’ve seen it before. He basically admitted she was hurt because he publicly ended their relationship, and then speculated – incredibly wrongly, I might add – about how she might react to being humiliated. He suggested she’d try to get revenge by making false accusations, which is just awful and a classic manipulation tactic. It’s a really damaging pattern of behavior, and frankly, a huge red flag. It shows a complete lack of accountability and a willingness to blame the other person instead of taking responsibility for his own actions.
