NetEase Games is letting players try out their new open-world Wuxia RPG, Where Winds Meet, on iOS devices from November 9th to November 11th. This is a limited technical test. The game, which was first shown in April 2024, has already been released in China on mobile devices since January.

Get ready to witness the next big leap in mobile gaming

You’ve probably seen videos of Where Winds Meet online – it’s been getting a lot of buzz! Now, you can finally play it yourself! Testing for the game on iPhones and iPads is starting soon, and will be updated frequently.

Where Winds Meet is an open-world action-adventure RPG set in tenth-century China, perfect for newcomers to the game. You play as a young sword master on a journey to discover the truth about who you are.

I believe this game could really compete with popular titles like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. The concept of exploring a huge and beautiful world with over 20 different areas on a portable device is amazing. It’s incredible to think about how far gaming has come – just a decade ago, this kind of experience seemed impossible!

How to join the Where Winds Meet iOS technical test

Ready to dive into a stunning Wuxia world with realistic environments, dynamic weather, and meaningful choices? Now you can! Experience authentic Wuxia combat, learn to wield traditional weapons, and embark on an immersive story-driven adventure. Sign-ups are open now, so don’t miss out!

We’ll let you know if you’re chosen within a week through Discord, but keep in mind that spaces are limited and selection will be based on qualifications. I also applied using my brother’s phone and am hoping to be accepted. Just a heads-up: this is still a work in progress, so you may encounter bugs, missing features, and some things that aren’t quite balanced yet.
