Deluxe Games Inc. has released its new action game, Outrankers, on both Android and iOS in Japan. The game was created by a team known for making popular competitive and cooperative games, but there’s no word yet on when it might be available outside of Japan.

OUTRANKERS is a fast-action, team-based game where three teams of three players battle it out in a futuristic, ruined city. The objective is to gather a valuable resource called Elpis – and you can do whatever it takes to get it, including outsmarting and overpowering the other teams.

This game is similar to Pokémon Unite, but adds a unique element that makes each match more enjoyable. You can team up with others, strategically sabotage opponents, or completely change the outcome with your abilities, all within quick three-minute matches. While it’s technically a MOBA, it also includes an automatic play option, making it accessible and relaxing for new players.

Players can customize skills and enjoy infinite skill combinations

I was really impressed with the character designs, a big thanks to Raita Kazama! Each character feels unique, with their own abilities and personality. Although it’s similar to Pokémon Unite, having three teams competing makes the game much more exciting. And the commentator, Wolfie, adds a lot of energy with his live reactions, just like a livestream.

I’ve seen some gameplay, and I’m really hoping this game gets released worldwide soon! The ability to customize skills, similar to Pokémon Unite, is a great feature, and it sounds like there’s a lot of depth to mastering them. Overall, with talented developers like Yoshiki Okamoto, Noriyoshi Funamizu, and Ryo Nishitani working on it, the game looks incredibly promising.
