Glen Powell spills all on his awkward naked scene in latest film The Running Man and how he was left red-faced after receiving Tom Cruise’s expert advice

Glen Powell recently shared details about filming a very revealing nude scene for his new action movie, The Running Man.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m keeping an eye on Glen Powell! He’s taking on a really exciting project – a brand new take on the classic Stephen King story, ‘Firestarter’. Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this book on screen – Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in a version back in ’87, but Glen is leading the cast in this second adaptation, and I’m eager to see his spin on it!

Glen shared a funny story about filming Friday night’s Graham Norton show – apparently, someone on the production crew got an unexpected glimpse of him!

When asked about performing his own stunts, he described a particularly challenging one: rappelling down an eight-story building in freezing temperatures, wearing minimal clothing and a very tight harness. He admitted it wasn’t a flattering experience.

It was surreal to learn later that someone was specifically assigned to prevent me from kicking a window. That meant they were essentially watching me from below all night, and I couldn’t help but wonder what they were observing with each attempt.

Glen admitted he felt embarrassed after Tom Cruise, the famous stunt performer, gave him some advice.

The Top Gun star, 63, told Glen he didn’t ‘look cool’ and imparted his wisdom on how ‘not to die’.

The celebrity said Tom called with an update, and what they expected to be a quick ten-minute conversation turned into a two-and-a-half-hour discussion – essentially, Tom gave them a detailed guide on staying safe.

He even helped me improve my running. He told me I should record myself, because apparently I wasn’t running as smoothly as I believed. And he was spot on!

Edgar Wright, the British director, is tackling a remake of a beloved, classic action movie. The film is set in a dark future and centers around a TV show that follows criminals trying to evade professional assassins.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s original movie is set in a United States between 2017 and 2019.

Glen explained that he wanted to get Arnold’s blessing before reprising the role, not wanting to disrespect the work Arnold had already done.

He was very kind and wished me well. He still enjoys watching action films, but he commented that this particular movie was quite violent, and he actually preferred comedies like ‘Kindergarten Cop’ and ‘Twins’.

Glen chatted with actresses Michelle Yeoh and Rosamund Pike on the Graham Norton Show to promote their new movie, Wicked: For Good.

Rosamund also shared the advice she too got from Tom Cruise, her co-star in Jack Reacher.

She explained that she was incredibly scared the night before filming began for Gone Girl. She couldn’t sleep and, at four in the morning, she emailed Tom, telling him she didn’t think she could handle the part because she was so frightened.

He quickly sent me a really encouraging letter, telling me I could do it and was prepared. It meant a lot coming from someone so well-known.

Jack Whitehall appears as a guest, and Ed Sheeran performs his new song, “Camera,” live on set. He then discusses his plans for upcoming albums.
