Kai seemed especially happy last month while strolling through New York City with someone who hasn’t been publicly identified.
Kai appeared to have found love in the sweet snaps.
For a casual day out, the teenager chose a black and white striped mini dress and paired it with classic Converse sneakers.
Although they appear close, it’s unclear whether their relationship is a romantic one or simply a close friendship.
In June, Kai shared her experiences with questioning her gender identity since childhood and publicly came out as transgender.
In a recent interview with Interview Magazine, the up-and-coming actress shared that she’d always dreamed of becoming a beautiful, glamorous, and powerful woman, drawing inspiration from figures like Marilyn Monroe.
She also expressed admiration for stars such as Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, Hari Nef, Dara, Richie Shazam, and Colin Jones, saying they inspired her as a young transgender person growing up during a challenging period for the community.
Kai shared with the magazine that they deeply admire trailblazers in the transgender community, particularly those in the fashion world.

The up-and-coming actress shared that she had a major creative moment while working with Valentino earlier this year.

Liev told Variety that Kai has always been true to herself, but a particularly meaningful moment was when Kai asked them to use different pronouns.
