Dakota Johnson looked stunning in a recent photoshoot for Valentino, signaling a fresh start after her split from Chris Martin.

The 35-year-old actress and the 48-year-old Coldplay singer ended their eight-year relationship and engagement in June, and she seemingly wanted to make an impression on him after the split.

For the Nocturne campaign, Dakota posed on the floor wearing a striking red dress – a so-called ‘revenge dress’ – with an off-the-shoulder design and cut-out details.

She paired the vibrant outfit with lace stockings, bright blue peep-toe heels, and a black leather handbag.

Dakota then changed into a nearly see-through dress decorated with silver sequins and feathers.

This photoshoot for Valentino’s Cruise 2026 Nocturne collection is her first project with the brand.

This photoshoot is happening shortly after reports surfaced that Dakota is starting to date again, following a somewhat inconsistent relationship with Chris.

He’s now dating Sophie Turner, 29, and sources say they have a strong connection after going on several dates in London.

Sources close to Dakota say she’s doing well and has moved on after her breakup with Chris, despite initially wanting to make the relationship last.

A source told People: ‘She’s in a great place. She is happy, fulfilled and she has moved on.   

Their relationship with Chris was always up and down, and although she really wanted things to work out, she seems happier and more relaxed now that they’ve broken up.
