Genevieve Chenneour, who became known this year for bravely fighting off a phone thief in west London, was happy to have a much calmer experience this time.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I was practically spying (okay, not actually spying, but you get it!) and I found out that Clara Livingston – yes, the Clara from Bridgerton, she’s even more stunning in person! – was at this little cafe in West London. And get this… she was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO BILL NIGHTY! Bill Nighy! Can you even imagine? It’s a dream come true just knowing they were in the same place. She’s 27, and he’s 75, but honestly, age doesn’t matter when you’re talking about such incredible talent!
She told Richard Eden of the Daily Mail that she found herself talking about intimate scenes with the acclaimed actor while he was offering her guidance about her career.
Genevieve recounted that Bill stood up, and her dog immediately became very excited around him. He then came over to greet her and asked if she’d like to get coffee together.
‘We talked for about an hour about acting and sex scenes. He was giving me lots of career advice.
I remember thinking how strange it was – here we were, both working in the same field, yet I was actually having coffee with Bill Nighy! It felt surreal.

The duo posed for a photo together afterwards with Genevieve’s dog Ralph joining in.
She shared the photo on Instagram with the caption: ‘You all seemed to really enjoy this picture! Here’s a cozy moment with Bill Nighy, a fluffy dog named Ralph, and Annie Knowles.’
Genevieve is out and about again after someone stole her phone at a cafe in west London back in February.
An 18-year-old Algerian thief, Zacariah Boulares, attempted to rob a woman at Joe & The Juice on Kensington High Street. During the struggle, she lost consciousness, and another man involved threatened her with a knife.
In July, Zacariah received a 22-month prison sentence after being convicted of three thefts and assault. He attacked the actress in broad daylight on February 8th, leaving her with a concussion.
Police at Scotland Yard looked into a 19-year-old man, but ultimately decided not to pursue the matter further, according to the BBC.
Genevieve left London and moved back in with her mother as she no longer felt safe in the capital.
She shared in August that the emotional distress she experienced had a lasting impact, making it difficult for her to even leave home.

She explained to the BBC that when she did go out, she needed someone to be with, but she worried about being a bother. She described this as a difficult cycle that’s easy to fall into.
She also altered her everyday habits, stopped taking public transportation, and chose to stay in hotels whenever she had work in London.
Genevieve previously shared with the Daily Mail that when a teenager attacked her, she surprised him by fighting back, saying, ‘They didn’t expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.’
I got a concussion right before the SAG Awards, and honestly, ever since then, I’ve just been feeling really jumpy and anxious. It’s been hard to shake off the feeling of being on edge.
Even my dog is still affected by what happened – now he gets anxious and protective whenever someone touches me. It’s ridiculous that something as simple as buying a coffee feels unsafe.
I really appreciate the team at Joe & The Juice. They were amazing both during the situation and when I returned to check on them later.
