I’m getting a lot of questions about when and where you’ll be able to stream Guillermo del Toro’s new take on Frankenstein. It’s hitting streaming soon, and everyone wants to know where to watch! As you probably know, this isn’t just any Frankenstein movie – it’s Del Toro’s vision of Mary Shelley’s classic, Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. He didn’t just direct, either; he also wrote and produced it alongside J. Miles Dale and Scott Stuber.

The movie debuted at the Venice International Film Festival on August 30, 2025, and then opened in limited release in theaters on October 17, 2025.
