Larry Emdur’s son has admitted to an embarrassing gaffe on social media.
Jye Emdur shared a funny story on Instagram Thursday about a misunderstanding. He thought people were photographing him, but they were actually taking pictures of the car behind him.
In the video, the 31-year-old is shown sitting at Bondi Beach near the parking lot, wearing a white t-shirt, a backwards cap, and Apple AirPods.
I was relaxing on the beach, listening to a podcast, when I kept thinking people were taking pictures of me. Then I turned around and saw it wasn’t me they were looking at – it was the bright orange Porsche parked behind me.
The classic Porsche drew a lot of looks, and Jye jokingly thought people were staring at him, not the car.
The video appeared to be a low-key advertisement for JustFin, the asset finance company he started working for in March.
Jye became an online sensation when his dad shared some attractive photos of him on Instagram, quickly gaining a lot of attention.
Larry posted a few photos of his son, Jye, who is featured in an advertisement for his whiskey brand, The Ben Buckler. Followers quickly commented on how handsome Jye is, noting his appearance on The Morning Show.
‘Dear Insta, please please help!’ the 60-year-old began the post’s caption.
‘I can’t choose which pic for a cool new Ben Buckler campaign. Pic A or Pic B?’
He also wondered if Jye should charge him a fee for modeling, or if, as his son, Jye should do it for free.
In the first photo, Jye is sitting in front of a red Ducati motorcycle, dressed in a pinstripe suit and holding a glass of whiskey.
He swept his thick hair back, highlighting his strong features, and looked effortlessly stylish as he posed for the camera.
A second photo featured Larry’s son dressed more casually, enjoying a glass of whiskey while wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.
The photoshoot featured his heavily tattooed arms, and the post quickly sparked a lot of excited comments.
Someone commented, ‘I can’t believe #booktok hasn’t discovered this yet! As someone who writes MC Romance, I definitely like picture B.’
Another added: ‘Oh Lordy! He’s your son??? Defs B!! That’s [fire emoji]’
‘Dear god Larry .. we need more of Jye,’ one person gushed.
