Blizzard Entertainment has announced details for BlizzCon 2026! The popular gaming convention will be back in Anaheim, California next year, celebrating all of Blizzard’s favorite games. You’ll find information here about dates, what to expect, and how to get tickets.
BlizzCon 2026 trailer is a trip down memory lane
Blizzard Entertainment revealed the return of BlizzCon with a trailer earlier this year. They followed up on November 5th with another trailer and more details shared on social media. The new trailer features Thrall inviting fans to the event, alongside appearances by popular characters like Anduin, Kerrigan, Hanzo, Tracer, Tyrael, and Winston.
The video features memorable scenes from Blizzard games throughout the years, such as the debut of Lilith in Diablo 4. It also shows footage of fans and costumes from previous BlizzCon conventions.
The trailer concludes with Tychus from StarCraft saying his famous line, “It’s about time,” but without the profanity, and then reminding everyone of the BlizzCon 2026 date. The tagline “The road home begins” follows, signaling a return to in-person BlizzCon events after several years!
BlizzCon 2026 date
BlizzCon 2026 is scheduled for September 12th and 13th. The event will feature a big opening ceremony with exciting news and reveals, a dedicated arcade space for gaming challenges, discussions with the game developers themselves, and esports competitions for Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch 2. Fans of Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft will also be able to enjoy the Blizzard Classic Cup!
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including artist showcases during Community Night, the March of the Murlocs, and a special after-hours Darkmoon Faire. Live music will be playing at the Hearthstone Tavern, and there will be opportunities for hands-on gaming, plus portfolio and resume reviews. A BlizzCon store will also be available for fans who want to purchase merchandise from their favorite games.
BlizzCon 2026 tickets
Tickets for BlizzCon 2026 will first be available starting November 7th at 9 a.m. PST and will be sold until November 9th at 11:59 p.m. PST, or until they sell out. These early bird tickets cost $249.99. Regular tickets will then go on sale November 18th at 9 a.m. PST for $289.99.
The BlizzCon Charity Night add-on costs $499.99 USD, while the Darkmoon Faire After Hours experience is priced at $89.99 USD.
