Chun-Li officially enters South Town in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves

“Ready? Then show me.”

SNK has released Chun-Li, the popular Street Fighter character, as a downloadable fighter in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. To mark the occasion, the game’s Special Edition is currently 60% off.

To celebrate the team-up between FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves and Street Fighter, SNK Corporation released a special animated trailer created by Masami Obari.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Chun-Li release date

Chun-Li is now available in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves as of November 5th! Players can now use her signature moves, combos, and classic Street Fighter look. While she’s a formidable World Warrior, the skilled kunoichi from the Shiranui clan offers a challenging opponent.

Okay, so I’m super excited because Chun-Li is coming to FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves as part of Season Pass 1! It’s a DLC that was included with the Special Edition, but you can buy it separately. She’s joining Ken, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Mr. Big as playable characters, which is awesome!

SNK says that Chun-Li has come to South Town to investigate a newly active criminal group. Players can learn all about her mission by playing the game’s Arcade and Episodes of South Town modes.

Chun-Li’s voice actor

Jennie Kwan provides the English voice for Chun-Li, including in the latest Street Fighter 6 game. You might also recognize her voice as Sonoko Suzuki from several Detective Conan films, or as Suki from Avatar: The Last Airbender. She’s also contributed voice work to the anime Demon Slayer. Check out the official English trailer for Chun-Li below.

Fumiko Orikasa provides the Japanese voice for Chun-Li, just as she does for another Street Fighter 6 character, Kwan. You might also recognize Orikasa as the voice of Riza Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach), Kyubei Yagyu (Gintama), and Lady from the recent Devil May Cry anime. Here’s a trailer featuring Chun-Li in Japanese from FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.
